It’s great to finally see a good game store in Gaithersburg. Selection of board games was a bit on the small side compared to other stores in the DC area, but the store is growing, and the games they do have are a nice assortment. Staff seemed friendly, and there’s lots of space for gaming. There was one shelf dedicated to old toys like GI Joe; I hope this part of the business expands. I’ll definitely check back next time I’m in the area.

First visit when I came home for the holidays. It was a nice store with lots of table space and big game library. Definitely pricey on board games. I ended up buying a MTG single because they had some holiday deals going on. Singles discount was «roll a discount» where you roll two dice and get that percentage off. I nailed it with two 6’s! Not sure how much I saved actually because I failed to ask how much the card was prior… but still a cool deal!

6 months old and this place is really taking off!!! Regional gamers and players have gotten rave reviews online and word on the street is intensifying. Don and Rick are just super nice guys who truly do GET IT! Easily one of the best in the county and statewide their popularity is growing. It feels like home and certain gaming nights it is packed. People come from far and wide so word is food and beverage service will be offered soon also.

The store itself is fantastic they have an excellent selection of magic cards and other table top games. The owners are very friendly and make me wish to return to play events. Most players I’ve seen there are very nice and inviting, with the exception of a few people the environment seams healthy an I would love to bring in my play group

What can I say, Don and Rick’s store is one of the best in the Montgomery County, MD area. It is new but filled with friendly faces, fun and a lot of choices board game wise. I have played at multiple venues for Magic and this is one of the most accepting and nicest. There is equal competition to some of the other stores in the MD area but Don and Rick unlike some directly focus on the customer and try to make sure that people are happy. If you want a place where you can seriously and casually game you should check out Play More Games.

Hidden away next to Giant — this game shop is very clean, bright and new. Lots of gaming space for card or tabletop games. They even have a console gaming area. The owners are really nice and don’t give off that grouchy why are you bothering me Comic Book Guy attitude you get at that «other» game store in Rockville. I’ll definitely be back.

I have known one of the owners for a few years now and this store far exceeds what his vision was for this store. There are card games, board games, collectors toys, a gaming system area, multiple tables for open play and some event going on pretty much every night of the week. It has a family feel, but will really open its arms to new and returning players with courtesy and assistance. Come here if you want to play games; chances are you will find someone that shares your interest in this store!
