The staff here is really attuned to children’s needs. The kids have a good time and learn self-control. I love that the older kids are encouraged to become leaders for the younger kids. They have a black belt club that works well. They do an excellent job of meeting kids at their level. I see kids that are probably labeled hyperactive in these classes and I see instructors addressing that difficulty and not expecting the parent to control their child. I see kids with some minor physical disablities achieving great things because they can focus. They also have special days(parents day out) for the kids. Just drop off for a couple of hours. They have fun; so do you. I like that there is a Starbucks close by so you can get a caffeine fix while watching the class. Really, the only negative is that the contract is very confusing. You sign up for say, 9 months, pay the 9 months and it seems to continue automatically. That’s odd. When terminating, as someone else mentioned, there is a 90 day notice required even if you’ve met all the months of your original contract. Confusing. You’ve completed the original T&C(9 months) yet you still have to give a 90 day notice. And … you still need to watch your credit card statements. Because if they accidentally record the wrong date for the 90 days(for example, the date the front office gets around to processing your request rather than the date of your request), there will be 1 extra payment. It’s confusing and with a bit of cleanup there could be a lot of resentment avoided.

Our 6 year old daughter has been going here for almost a year. The staff is wonderful and very responsive to each child’s needs. The schedule is pretty flexible. We particularly love Mr. Sheldon whose energy and ethusiasm for the kids is unparalled.
