Best way on e-​bay!
I never write reviews, but when Isoldit in Gaithersbutd has sold over one hundred of my family’s unique items with precision, kindness and incredible results, I felt I should to let the public know that e-​bay sales can be the best opportunity to sell your special items and nobody better than Isoldit located in a fine store in Gaithersburg/​Germantown, Maryland.area. As soon as you step in you know you are at a professional operating store managing everything with calmness, carefulness, but aggressively trying to find your item comprobles or ways to best show off your unique one of a kind items. I don’t want this review to be too long, all though it could be. Let me just say, the photography and research on your items to show it off on e-​bay is phenomenal! I have used this store to sell everything from music synthesizers to unique Kaleidoscopes. They never needed assistance in finding my miniature pianos collection or even carpet cleaner or even stained glass lamps. They are not surprised by anything you bring into the store. There are people that do the photography, people who do the research, people who write for the listing and lastly, people that do the careful shipping of your items after they have been sold. This is not a «one man» operation. It is a professional shop that does nothing but e-​bay and has been around for a long time. My family, friends, relatives gave been using Isoldit for many many years. Why not go to the best to get the best! I know you will be grateful for this review! Now quickly figures. Over 100 items sold. Only 2 of 100 didn’t sell, and that is because I am a musician/​artist with dated gear. Ninety eight, however did sell and I didn’t expect that. I know it’s because of Isoldit in Gaithersburg, Maryland that made this happen. Now, go and get some money on things you simply don’t use anymore. There is someone who is looking for your «treasure» that you didn’t think it was so special and desired! Lastly, quick payments and follow ups couldn’t be better! 5 stars! This store is a great idea and I wish I’d thought of it first.
I took in some electronics I don’t use anymore, hoping to make some quick money, but this isn’t like a pawn shop. They pay you after they’ve sold it. After my initial disappointment at not walking out wealthier, I was reassured by the clerk that she could get me more money this way. She valued my items using previous sales from eBay quickly and efficiently, and then suggested auctions for what I’d brought in.
All 3 items were up for auction within 6 days, which is pretty quick considering it took me a month to get them to the store. I got emails during the whole process to keep me informed of what was happening, and it allowed me to follow the auctions on eBay! The photos looked great, I hardly recognized my own tablet. They managed to make it look like a catalog photo.
2 of my items sold for a little bit more than was estimated, and the third fell a little short. I was happy with how everything worked out though. In the end I got just over 50% of what my stuff sold for and the check I received broke down the fees and where they went. They got 35% and eBay was taking 11−13% for my items. If I can find some more valuable items then the store’s fees will go down, so I’m keeping an eye out around my house for anything else I can bring in!

I truly felt like this company robbed me. Not only did my item sell for way less, which was my fear. They also talked me out of setting a reserve. It was worth it to just keep the item. I practically gave it away. I was better off selling it myself. There was no added value in using this service.

I loved doing business with I SOLD IT. From my first interaction on the phone, where they answered all my questions, to the owner coming out (for a very nominal charge), looking over all my stuff and told me what he thought would sell. After I delivered the items, they totally took over — with great pictures, descriptions, etc. and managed the entire process, keeping me in the loop every step of the way. Emails when they posted, emails when things sold, and when items shipped. They sold everything I took over. I highly recommend I Sold It!

Yeah, I don’t know what that other guy was saying. The fees are nothing like that. They’re honest about what they’ll take and can’t take. If you don’t like the fees, don’t sell there. Whining about it won’t do you any good. If you want to sell things yourself, do it. If you want a service to do it for you where you only have to give them the item, go to these guys. As long as you’re nice, they’re nice to you.
The buyback program is good for GOOD dvd’s. If what you have is old and noone wants it, they won’t buy it from you. Gee, I wonder why? –Sarcasm.
Very good place that does what they can, because they want to make the most money for you. They are a trusted seller on e-​bay, while you’re just some random person with an account. The choice is clear.

Do you like giving money away? Well then come here. They take as high as 40% commission. Ebay paypal fees is approximately 13−15% of the item selling price, ISOLDIT charges buyers S&H so they are pocketing about 25% in commission + whatever discount they get on shipping in bulk.
Definitely very expensive to sell with them, check pawn shops maybe you get negotiate better prices.
P.S They do have a media buyback program where they buy VERY SELECT dvd, cds and games
I brought over 300 dvds here and they scanned about 50 and didn’t accept any.

I starting working with this store when it first opened and they have since grown to one of the highest volume stores in the country. It is obvious why they have been so successful… GREAT customer service, extensive knowledge of many products and the ability to research new items, the experience to price your items to sell and very timely payment. If you have items to sell on eBay and have no experience or eBay reputation, I Sold It On Ebay is definitely the route to go.
