I once made an appointment to get my nails done, and when I got there I waited almost 2 hours to be seen. My sister got her nails done here once and there was a little hair in the gel of one of the nails. I decided to give them a second chance and get a Brazilian wax here. BIGMISTAKE. This facility is so dirty and unprofessional. She didn’t use gloves, she double dipped the waxing stick into the wax(used for face/other clients body parts) and she said she had 30 years of experience but was not doing a proper job. When I got home I realized she had missed so many spots and my skin was extremely irritated. I ended up getting an infection from the filthy wax and having to go to the Emergency room which cost me a fortune. NEVER go here. They don’t have proper hygiene. Can you imagine how dirty the pedicure bowls are?

This place does not disappoint. My hair gets cut right every time, and efficiently. Even when I see other people sitting and waiting their turn ahead of me, it really isn’t long before its my turn, due to their efficiency. I would certainly have Mr. Asher cut my hair.

Terrible! Came here a couple times before and they did a decent job with friendly service. However last time I came here they did my brows and burnt me. It was such a bad burn I thought I would have to go to the doctor. I was in pain for about two days and needed ice. It was very red and left a scab, which eventually went away. Luckily, nightly aloe gel helped it heal really fast. Will never go here again which is a shame because I actually once liked it.

Quick tip and review! Tip: If you are running late, and need a quick fix or decide to get your hair done WITHOUT an appointment, this may not be the best place for you! *Incase you try to drop by as a walk in, I recommend that you call first to give them a heads up. Just a tip. Why? Because they are super busy! It’s a family business and they can get pretty slammed! Overall, they are truly great! Review: I love this place, it is still going through a lot of changes but I will always come back for a gel manicure and pedicure. This is my number one spot. I have been getting my nails done at Clippers for 6+ years and Molly is THEEEBEST! She knows my style, she knows that I prefer three coats and she always gives me options! She works with her clients and she is very friendly. *Molly has also cut my hair in the past and she is great. I def recommend this place when your are off and in no rush!

I love this place, have been getting my nails done here for 5 years. Molly & Cindy are the best when it comes to nails. They always do really nice designs. The mom Linda is really good with eyebrows. It usually takes a long time to get my nails, toes & eyebrows done because they are so busy but I’m used to it. The wait is worth the results. I recommend this place!

Molly. The owner and the only person I allow to do my eyebrows. She is amazing when it comes to eyebrows, as well as doing nails. I have been coming to this location for years. I don’t get the chance to go as much now since I have relocated for school purposes; but every time I come to Maryland, this is the first place I go to. I refuse to have someone else do my eyebrows. I also get my pedicures here and I am always satisfied with the outcome. Heads up though; better make sure you have time; cause sometimes the wait can be a bit long. I recommend to call ahead of time and make an appointment.

when I moved to Gaithersburg 7+ years ago, this was the first nail salon I tried(you couldn’t then or now beat the price of a $ 28 on Monday mani/pedi special), and I was a loyal customer for years. they renovated 1 – 2 years after I started coming here, and went from a clean but plain place to a cute one with fancier wall colors and decorations. but since then, it’s gotten really run down. it’s downright shabby, and just doesn’t look clean anymore. employees are often lounging to eat at the same tables they’re going to do your nails on. one of the owners always greets you enthusiastically and puts you in a pedi chair, and tells you a tech will be there in «just one minute.» while that used to be true, in recent years it’s not at all: I’ve been waiting«one minute» for sometimes up to a half hour, most especially when I go in with a friend and one of us is started while the other is left hanging(so we can’t exactly get up and leave). still, you expect some of the finer touches to be absent at this bargain rate, so for as long as I was getting a proficient basic mani/pedi for under $ 30, I can forgive some amount of less than classy goings-on. lately, though, they’ve had some guys staffing the pedi chairs, none of which have posted cosmetology licenses like the ladies do. one of these guys was unforgivably rough on my toe cuticles, and another flat-out botched the painting so that it had to be redone by someone else. bottom line: it’s still really cheap, and if you’re vocal and demanding about the time, it can be very quick. but unfortunately, the customer service and quality have gotten as shabby as the place looks, and I’ve moved on elsewhere.

i used to go to this place when i was new to getting my nails done regularly. after further review i have realized that this place does the gel nails EXTREMELY thick and makes it very hard to pick up things off floors/counters/tables etc. after trying out a few other places i have decided to take my business elsewhere. used to be an avid regular.
