Beautiful U

They do a pretty good job of cleaning up your eyebrows and come very close to what you request. But their service could be better, they are not the friendliest. The last time l went in for eye brow threading, the Lady who did my eyebrows left the tissue she used to clean up my brows, post-​threading, on my blouse, l thought that was odd, l picked it up after touching up my make up and gave it to her to toss in a trash can, she was kindda surprised l did that; l was shocked she had the nerve not to properly dispose of that after service. l’m still not sure if that was deliberate or not so l’m going to excuse it and lf l’m in the area, l will go in for a trimming, if not there are other places that are good/​better.
So l came here a few weeks ago and another Lady did my Eyebrows, and she was really good, but l didn’t get her name, she was polite, straight to business and l got compliments afterwards, so l guess service depends on who you meet. So far so good, will be back, hopefully get the same Lady.

I was unable to located their kiosk, so made my way to their store on the first floor (near JCP) as my eyebrows were in desperate need of threading. There was no other customers in the store, so I got seated right away. The lady who threaded my brows had an odd way of threading. There were a few times where I could feel her almost grabbing my eyelashes (thank goodness she didn’t!) and shook her hands up/​down after every time she pulled my eyebrow hair out. The experience was weird, as she often brushed against my face. She did manage to clean up my brows nicely, though. She also managed to keep the same shape, which is always a plus.
$ 10 to get your brows threaded. They accept CCs, but no AMEX.

i went here a few times just to see which girl would do well on my eyebrows and i did not like any of them at all. everytime one of them did it, one eyebrow was too thin, too short, or just not matching.
i know when it comes to eyebrows, they’re like sisters they aren’t suppose to be the same but it was just terrible. I’ve been using caster oil to help my eyebrows grow thicker and fuller since they’re so thin!

Well, at least my eyebrows are finally as equal as they’ll probably ever going to be again.
A word of caution — if you’re not good with pain and/​or stinging sensations, eyebrow threading is not I repeat IS NOT for you. My face was smarting for a solid 15 – 20 minutes after I was done. The woman who did my brows (I never got her name) was nice enough, though she didn’t quite listen to what I wanted. I don’t like thin brows for myself, and holy hell are they thin! To be fair though, I did ask her to make them as equal as possible. But they’re still thin and it makes me kinda upset honestly.
Nonetheless, service wasn’t too bad. They’re not the absolute friendliest but it’s not like the Cold War in there either. $ 10 for eyebrows which is decent I suppose. I might be back

I was in desperate need of taming my brows, and I happened across this store. Figuring my existing brow shape was still pretty well defined by my preferred eyebrow tamer– I thought I would be ok going here to an unknown.
I have never had anyone thread my eyebrows that quickly. And when I looked in the mirror– I was not impressed. My brows basically look like 2 thin rainbows now…
Thankfully my brows grow like weeds– so this is far from devastating– but still– it’s annoying.

It’s only $ 10 for threading and I always throw in a $ 1 tip. I hear really good things about Rashmi but the two times I’ve gone I had another lady do the job because Rashmi is not there on Tuesdays. I’d say it was pretty decent threading job. I’ve had better but I didn’t want to go down all the way to Friendship Heights for my usual.
I’d keep going back if I was still working around here or just in the area.

Everytime I come to this place, I have the best experience getting my eyebrows threaded. Now let’s make this clear, there is only ONE person who can do them well. Her name is Rashmi (I’m not sure if I spelled that correctly), and she is awesome! I will warn you, do not go to anyone else.
During one visit, I let the other young lady thread my eyebrows. My rationale was, «Hey, Rashmi does a great job, she should be somehwere near that level if she works here.» WRONG! If you are rushing, please wait for Rashmi, or else you might leave crying. I’m not kidding.
The five stars are not so much for Beautiful U, but for Rashmi.
So my point is, ask for Rashmi! She never disappoints (me)!

This is where i go to get my eyebrows/​facials done. This place specializes in THREADING not waxing. I always break out really bad from waxing so i thought i would try threading out. Let me first say that it is extremely painful and every single time i have gone there my eyes water and it streams down my face. but it is worth it. they thread your eyebrows to give them a very natural look. when you get your eyebrows waxed the people generally don’t care about how you look and just ask «thin or thick.» At Beautiful U, they thread your eyebrows just cleaning up the areas around your natural curve. I have gotten a facial there one time before my wedding and i will say the girl went way too far up on my cheek where it was totally unnecessary to thread and i ended up breaking out really bad. i remember asking «do u really need to thread my cheek?» she said «everyone has hair there.» and i said «do you get that part threaded?» and she said «no.»
despite that i am a huge fan of this place and recommend that all my friends convert to threading vs waxing. They also do make-​up i believe but i have never had it done or seen the results.
Also it is only $ 10 for eyebrow threading and they never ask or expect a tip. there is not even a line on the credit card receipt to but a tip even if you wanted to. Facials are $ 30 and they also have a card where after like 5 or 6 eyebrow threadings you get the next one free.

Horrible! Only went there because my usual eyebrow place was closed. Regretted it! The girl working there is rude and unprofessional. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Will have to wait weeks to get my brows to overgrow so they can be shaped again!
