Awesome price, convenient, and friendly employees. I normally shop here after my gym session at LA Fitness. Today was an extraordinary visit, I came in fairly late and was the last to leave, they didn’t rush me out, this nice gentleman who happened to be the manager, personally checked out my items and when I went to pay with my debit card, he asked if I wanted to use debit or credit, hellllooooo yes I was excited that they finally take credit cards now, so I can get reward points for using my card ^__^. I have always liked shopping at Aldi for a quick grocery shopping trip. I would definitely recommend anyone to shop at Aldi :).

The store carries all that Aldi has to offer but wine /beer. The prizes for pantry staples and most everything else are lower than at Giant or Safeway. While this is standard at other Aldi stores, this one was meticulously clean, and had very fresh produce. The cashiers were quick and friendly. They now accept credit cards!

This is more of a review on this specific aldis because I’m not going to take away credit for things that ALL aldis do(such as no credit cards or the bag your own stuff issue). it always seems clean, the staff is always friendly. I do feel a little rushed in the check out line though. I don’t know if it’s how fast they push the food from the scanner to your cart or what, but somehow I always feel like I need to fly out of there after paying. but overall great place

Food is cheap, and people that work there are as friendly as they can be. Honestly the only negative experiences I’ve had are either with other customers walking around like aisle blocking zombies or this one cashier taking 15 minutes to ring up my groceries a couple weeks ago. Basically, if you want to spend $ 80 for 2 and be set for 2 weeks, go to Aldi.

I admit I was like the guy that gave 2 stars thinking that this was just a store with knock off brands but there’s so much more to Aldi’s that I learned after doing a little research on Google. Now I am eternally grateful that we have an Aldi’s to shop at! Quality of food is equal if not better and less expensive than what you’d find at a Giant, Shoppers, Target, etc. I think it’s important to advertise why Aldi’s is so inexpensive! Search up «Why Aldi is so cheap». Private labels to eliminate the middle man, no-frills design to eliminate the need for stocking shelves constantly, insane efficiency to the point where it needs fewer workers, and by putting the customer to work by requiring to deposit a quarter into the cart(obviously retrieving it once you put the cart back). Needless to say I am definitely a fan after learning more about the way the company works.

Now closest location to my home(but still almost 20 miles away), so I have been going here about once/month since its spring 2015 opening. Thanksgiving items, e.g., pecans & corn syrup for pecan pie, 12 oz. bags of fresh cranberries, canned pumpkin, etc., were about 50% less than conventional supermarkets. Great quality European biscuits and chocolate. Chips & nuts & dried fruit are similar quality to Trader Joe’s, at about 30% less. Produce is hit-or-miss. Lately, the Mexican Haas avocados and Chilean blueberries are the same sticker/brand as Whole Foods but featured for 49 cents per avocado & $ 1.69 for pint of berries. Both have been excellent. Produce which isn’t on sale doesn’t sell through as quickly, so quality isn’t always great. However, staples like onions & potatoes are fresh and replenished often(at 79 cents for 3-lb. bag of onions and $ 1.19 for 5 lb. bag of red potatoes, they go through a whole pallet pretty quickly). Manager Ryan is energetic and helpful. Lines move quickly as manager will come open an additional register if lines become at all long. My dog who passed away recently just shy of age 15 loved Aldi dog food in large bags and the Aldi dog biscuits. Have been satisfied with Aldi tall kitchen garbage bags, paper towels, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, dishwashing liquid & laundry detergent, all at unbeatable prices unless you like to spend time searching sales flyers & coupons at the competition. Haven’t tried any of the frozen food, but it seems to be popular with other shoppers. Have to pay cash unless you want to open an Aldi credit/debit account. If you’re into particular brands, or strictly organic, or strictly whole grains, this won’t cover all your shopping needs. I have to go elsewhere for organic milk and for brown rice & whole wheat pasta, but what Aldi does carry is fine quality and among the lowest prices in the DMV. Reminds me of a chain called«Ed» when I lived in Geneva, and apparently there is another chain called«Lidl» in Germany which is similar to Aldi, and is about to open in the U.S.

I’ve shopped at Aldi’s before — in other states and in Birmingham UK. It will never be on my regular weekly run — I don’t eat many bagged snacks, crackers, or candy. But I still enjoy occasionally looking to see what’s dirt cheap. The store does a great job of keeping the aisles clean, the products neatly shelved, and the prices low. There’s a mix of generic brands along with brands such as Ghirardelli. I have yet to figure out the«rules» at the checkout. Somehow you are forced to use the cart of the person before you and not the one you’ve been using to gather your purchases. Took me several visits before I noticed that there were bags to be had. Sturdy plastic ones for 10¢ and paper bags for 5¢. The need to get your quarter back means most carts are returned to the front of the store and not left randomly in the parking lot.

OMG, why didn’t anyone tell me about Aldi sooner?! I was doing some Thanksgiving shopping at the local Target and Walmart, when I decided to just pop in and see what it was like. I had never been into an Aldi location and I was pleasantly surprised. Bacon was $ 3.50. Gallons of milk, $ 1.99. Cream cheese, $.89, Sausage $.1.49. Even the knock off ranch«doritos» were delicious. I walked out with a pack of bacon, a bag of ranch tortilla chips, a bag of cheese curls, two rolls of pork sausage, a pound of shredded cheddar cheese, a block of colby cheese, a block of colby jack cheese, and two blocks of cream cheese for $ 17. I didn’t need anything special, so this was an excellent spot to just pick up some basics. One downside is that they don’t accept credit cards, but as long as you have cash or a debit card you’re good to go.

Found Aldi when my family & I lived in Germany. It was already awesome having one in Germantown but it’s even better having one closer in Quince Orchard. I love the prices and leave with a lot of food for very little money. Though they don’t generally have«brand name» foods, for the most part, it tastes just as good. You won’t find every single last thing on your shopping list here but they have a lot of food made in Germany which I’m okay with! Haven’t had any issues with this new location yet so that’s good! 5 star!

When it comes to quality they have nothing to say. They have fair prices but not good products«you pay less for lower quality«. I like their ready to cook meals, they worth the money. And they do not accept credit cards!

Came across this store while exploring the area. It’s a relatively small store with a simple layout. They offer an aisle dedicated to organic food(which is always a plus in my book!). The store reminds me of Costco — except it’s much smaller with fantastic prices. I bought 2 bags of dried fruits, a case of apple-banana sauce, a bag of chips, and a bag of apples and paid a total of $ 12. Win.

Note to self — Whenever you get a direct mail advertisement saying that the first 100 guests at a 9:00AM opening will receive a golden ticket for a chance to win great prizes, don’t show up at 8:53AM expecting to be among the first 100. I overheard that the first person arrived at 6:45 with a lawn chair. I also overheard that staff was handing out numbers around 7:30, meaning people could grab numbers, come back later, and still get the prize, which I was told was a $ 10 coupon. I did, however, receive a free Aldi Eco-Bag. When I lived in a suburb of Baltimore, I used to buy milk at Aldi all the time for just $ 1.99. The location at Golden Ring did increase the price on milk by a few cents, but it was still cheaper than what Costco was selling it for. Now that I am in Gaithersburg, the local Costco is selling milk cheaper than this Aldi. The only brand name product I saw today was Kellogg’s Pop Tarts. There may have been others, but I did not see any today(it was the grand opening). There were samples of string cheese and apple juice in the aisles. This is a great place to purchase produce and essentials. The sales ad said that Wednesday was a special buy day for fresh meat. The ad also said that if for any reason you are not satisfied, they will replace the product AND refund your money. Welcome to Gaithersburg, Aldi!
