Wing Zone

The only reason I decided to try Wing Zone was that I had received some coupons for it on campus that encouraged the use of their delivery system. To my surprise, none of the coupons worked online (yes, I met all the minimum requirements and put in the right code). This was strike one.
Next, our order took an hour to get to me. However, this is forgivable since I live southside near Archer and was having it delivered from University. As a result, the wings came to me after having been cooled down a significant amount. After sitting in its own sauce, the boneless chicken I ordered was just super squishy. Strike two.
Like what many of the other reviewers have said, the wings here are also super small. If you can fit my 16 piece order (plus fries) inside one small box, that is a problem. Strike three, unfortunately.
The only saving grace about this place is that I really enjoy their online ordering system; I think it’s well laid out. They also have a good selection of sauces that were fairly tasty.

Night. I usually try to find the best or at least something good to say about a place so…
Here comes the good — I ordered the blackened voodoo chicken, Ranch fries, and fried pickles and a orange Fanta. The ranch fries were pretty good. Like cool ranch Doritos on a fry.
The interesting — it wasn’t blackened or any other seasoning on the chicken at all. It came with a cup of spices in the bag. Which kinda turned out ok. I put it on the chicken and rubbed it in. Not what I call ‘blackened’ chicken, but ‘spiced’ chicken was ok.
The ugly– The orange Fanta I bought, turned out to be orange Crush. This may not seem like a deal breaker to some, but if you are a Fanta person you understand you don’t sell Crush as Fanta. Not funny folks… Not funny.
The second part of ugly — They called back 3 times to tell me they didn’t have something I ordered and that my order was not being made yet. The order arrived 1hr 20 min after the last phone call and included food I didn’t order but paid for. I was not impressed to say the least.
All in all — The chicken was moderate at best. Fries = good (the highlight).
Orange crush = bummer. Delivery not good.

The first two times I bought from wing zone they had little issues, I decided one more chance was deserved, everyone has a off day now and then. But this one was a total flop. This was my last purchase from wing zone. Plus the food (except the ranch fries) just isn’t that good.

I ordered 30 wings on Wednesday. Wings were big and fresh! Very tasty sauce! We enjoyed dinner very much! Most importantly, 30 wings cost only $ 17 for Wednesday Special! Strongly recommend!

Went here for lunch on a Tuesday in Summer A. Ordered and paid at 12:49 and didn’t get my food for 15 minutes. Was it busy? Nope. I was the only customer in the building. About 10 minutes into waiting, a lady came out and said, «Wait please.»
They didn’t apologize for making me wait 15 minutes.
I will not eat here again.

Excellent wings, and more flavors than I can count on both my hands! I’ve only tried 3 of their flavors so far (Liquid gold, thai chili and samurai) but all of them have been outstanding. Their boneless wings by far are the best I’ve ever had. Thank you!

Ordered 100 wings. Extra crispy and extra sauce. We got neither. Had to pay in advance now they are giving me a hard time. Come when the manager is here. I did. Now wr have to wait on the owner. Not good food or customer service.

delivery was made in 20 minutes and my food was still piping hot. (I live less than 3 miles away :) the wings were a good size, tons of great flavor. potato wedges could have been cooked a little longer (I like mine extra crispy) fried mushrooms were really good. No complaints at all.

$ 10 for 10 wings and I mean little bitty wings
You can go to Ballyhoo’s or Gator’s Dockside and get some huge wings for half the cost.
One would think with a name like WingZone they would specialize in wings and since they are take out have some decent sized wings since the don’t have the restaurant overhead.
Nope. Small thin wings.
I really feel I got ripped off, and that what I got should have cost ½ the price.
We won’t be back. Unfortunately the college crowd will as they seem to be doing great business with the UF students taking advantage of them with small wings and high prices.

Why did I go? I had a coupon. There is NO parking, they are SLOW; no seating; no dining in; take out only.
The wings are over priced and you can’t find a stop close to park. I like wings, but not this place.

They did not give me any utensils, napkins, and forgot my dressing. REALLY, do I need to check on everything? YES

Strongly Recommend! Ordering the wings three times a week, and burgers every Monday as good half price! I love the flavor of Garlic Parm And honey BBQ Soooo much! They deliver fast and I would like to tip well. BTW, the homemade sweet tea is awesome!

Failure at delivery. Rude and unhelpful staff. Will never order from them again.

Not such a great wing place despite the name.
Wing Zone is a place that should be shelling out the best wings in Gainesville right? That shouldn’t be too hard. The problem is that they are shelling out overpriced wings that are only a bit above average. It’s a tiny place so delivery and takeout are really the only way to go. The menu consists of other things like Buffalo Shrimp and Burgers and I do like the various amounts of sauces that they do offer.
I’ve had the wings, buffalo shrimp, wedges, and mozzarella sticks from this place. The wings aren’t bad but they are overpriced for what you can get elsewhere. For a place that is named Wingzone I expect a little more. I like regular wings more, but the boneless wings here are better than the regular ones. The variety of sauces is great and I do enjoy the Spicy BBQ but other sauces like Tokyo Teriyaki aren’t good. The buffalo shrimp are surprisingly good. But you should order sauce on the side because they drench it otherwise. The mozzarella sticks and potato wedges are good too but expect a bit of sogginess on your way back home from takeout or delivery.
Overall, a place named WingZone should be known for better wings though. I hear the burgers aren’t bad, but I’m not going to a place called WingZone for the burgers, nor would anyone else.

I consider myself a pretty big wing fan… and i am not a fan of this chain of fast food… for an outlet specializing in WINGs, they need to know that having a variety of flavors/​sauces does not make you special. the wings were dry, small, and over-​priced for what we got. there are better options in town

Makes a better burger than the Top. And they deliver fast. Great onion rings, fried mushrooms, and the shrimp is pretty good too. Wing sauce is good, although the wings are a little skinny.

I ordered them during a football game. Delivery was taking forever so we called and they gave us half off. I tried to get half off again and ordered the same time next game and it only took 15 minutes… bastards.
