The Longstreet Clinic, P.C.

I went to the Longstreet Clinic on Thursday. I arrived for my 8:00am appointment at 7:45. The doors of the clinic did not even open until 8, which was to be expected. Once I was signed in, I was told it’d be about 8:30 before I was called back because the nurse practitioner was running late. At this point in time I did not complain (things happen, people are late, no big deal). However even though I was told 8:30, I was not called back until 9:45!!! Keep in mind I am sick and extremely uncomfortable. I was diagnosed with strep throat after finally being called back. I was prescribed an antibiotic… The nurse practitioner I saw told me to call if the prescription did not work. Needless to say, now two days later (Saturday) I called and let them know that the antibiotic had not treated my strep throat and that it had gotten worse than it was the day I came in. The first time I called, the receptionist put me on hold and so waited for 13 minutes before I finally decided to hang up and try again. The second time I called I was yet again put on hold… This time for 16 minutes before I hung up. The third time I called I let the person who answered know about the previous situation and magically I was connected to a nurse without being put on hold. The nurse proceeded to tell me that she would not send me a new antibiotic. She said that the doctor on duty did not agree with the treatment by the original nurse practitioner. She told me I was more than welcome to come back in and see the doctor on duty. As I am a self pay patient (meaning I have no health insurance), it costs me a minimum of $ 75 just to sign in at the front desk. At the moment I do not have a job, so this is clearly not an option. I am extremely disgusted in the service I have received from the Longstreet clinic lately. I DO NOT recommend coming here. I plan on finding a new doctor ASAP.

I’ve been to this clinic 2 times on the same issue. They have no idea about anything. I have seen 2 different fake nurses. I have a sinus infection and told them I did. Both times they swabbed my throat for streptococcus and never even looked at my chest X-​ray or told me the results. I would not take anyone I cared about to this clinic.

This group of Doctors have been a great team for me for the past 30 years. Starting at NE GA MED CTR, Dr Manus has been my primary and kept me healthy and well managing blood pressure issues to DVTs and more. Great staff, there are long waits — but part of dealing with doctors these days. Place has been remodeled, has a Chic Filet next to the lab so when you give blood you can get something to eat, good pharm inside.
I trust them all here and highly recommend Longstreet if you are looking for a new doc!!!
