Superior Windows & Doors

I recently replaced all the windows in my house and I’m so glad I went with them. I checked with several other installers first, including WindowMan, but Sam was able to get me custom sized windows sooner (made in the U.S.A.!) and of a higher quality for a reasonable price.
Sam answered a lot of questions that I had, since this was my first time making this kind of purchase, and the windows look really sleek. His team took the right measurements where Window World and Lowes just measured the old window frames. That means that they considered the empty space on the sides of the old windows, and I ended up getting larger windows with more viewing area!
He also asked me about what trim I would like, and I got something that looks even more stately and appropriate for the time period of the house. I was hesitant at first to lose my original wood windows, but Sam and David neatly stacked the old sashes for me to keep, and the new woodgrain vinyl is beautiful. Sam and David worked on the weekends to get the job done, and I now feel more at home in my house.
I learned that if you’re making such a significant investment into your home, consider whether it’s actually an improvement, or just a bandaid fix. I am happy with the Simonton windows, where this company gets its products, and the installation. Sam really is the superior window man!

I received a postcard from Superior Windows & Doors at a time when we were considering redoing our back porch. I hadn’t heard of them, but decided to call them about a quote. When I talked with Sam, he was extremely personable and responsive. We scheduled an appointment for him to come and discuss the job. He was prompt and professional. Many times in this area it’s difficult to get a contractor to show up on time and even fewer are responsive after an initial meeting. Superior Windows and Doors was the complete opposite. We had a quote very quickly and Sam worked with us to stay in our budget. As soon as we had a plan the materials were on order. He and his crew were very professional and communicated throughout the process. There are two great examples of Sam’s dedication to customer service. First, when there was a delay from the manufacturer on the windows, Sam let us know what was going on and worked to keep us on schedule for completion before the holidays. He even stayed very late just before Christmas to clear out the construction trash before our guests arrived. Second there was a crack in one of the window frames upon delivery and Superior Windows worked with the manufacturer to get it replaced as soon as possible. Overall a great experience and easily one of the best contractors we’ve worked with here in Gainesville.
