My fiancée and I came here to find wedding invitations for a wedding that we are having out of state. We were very impressed by how professional and patient all the staff at the store was, and how they treated our wedding like it was a unique and special event! Satya took the time with us to go through each and every idea, and to run through each detail until we created our perfect vision for our wedding stationary. She made helpful suggestions and made any changes we requested immediately. Everything was timely and when they received the invitations she went through each one of them, picking out ones with the most minor ink dot to send back to make see that our invitations were absolutely perfect. You are spending so much on this stationary, you should expect nothing short of perfection, and the staff at Simply Gorgeous realize this! I would highly recommend this staff and especially Satya and the owner to anyone looking to get the perfect wedding stationary. Out of photographers, DJ’s, venues and florists, this was our best vendor that we have worked with so far! Just goes to show that shopping small businesses has it’s perks, and being treated like a VIP is a nice change of pace.

I came back here for more Crane stationery today and was, again, impressed with the kind, helpful, service of the ladies who work here and also the fairly good selection of Crane writing papers and notecards of various sizes and motifs. That said, most of the store is devoted not to stationery but to ladies’ handbags, bracelets, Gator-​themed trinkets, and the like – all manner of small showy ornaments can be found here. As the owner explained to me, the market for fine stationery has fallen due to how much people use email and other computer-​mediated forms of communication nowadays.
The also carry Lamy’s line of pens, but only had the Safari selection in the shop. I was told they can however order anything Lamy makes for US markets. The only issue I have with Simply Gorgeous though is this: I was told the Lamy Safari pens sell for around $ 40. .. the Lamy list price is only $ 35 and many online retailers sell them for around $ 27. It is possible the staff member I spoke with was mistaken, but if you’re in the market for a Safari – and you should be, they’re wonderful pens – I’d check around. I’m all for supporting small businesses and would even pay a couple dollars more than an online store may cost to shop local but still, a nearly ten dollar mark-​up is kind of out there. ..
