Thank you Occasions for providing excellent customer service.
Just last week my mother, daughter and I came to this shop to see about having a floral arrangement designed for my father’s funeral. This was after leaving Joyce Merek Florist (with a bad taste left in our mouths from all the rudeness we were just served up).
My mom with a background in art immediately liked the shop when she entered. She said the creativity this florist has is made very clear with the arrangements placed all around.
The owner Carol was absolutely fabulous while listening to my mom design the arrangement she would like to have. Carol offered up some ideas that my mom was very open to. Carol told us she does not like using filler flowers such as carnations. We did expect to pay a bit on the higher side, and we were okay with doing so if we received what we were looking for. Much to our surprise we spent no where close to what we had figured.
My only suggestion would be if Carol had a very minimal example book made available. Something maybe showing the different types of flowers that she uses (since so many are not the common type).
Thank you Carol for a job well done, and for what I feel as going above and beyond in making sure my mother and I were 100% satisfied in your work.
Stop into this shop right on the corner of Washington in the square. You’ll find more than arrangements in this little shop, and even if you don’t leave with something at that time. You’re sure to return in the future.

The best florist in Gainesville, GA and our friend! Not only do they have beautiful flowers, but they are beautiful people as well. A couple of years ago, during the recession, my wife and I decided that we would elope — broke and happy. One sunny day we decided to head to the courthouse. .. and when John found out, he wouldn’t let us go without flowers. Like magic, he whipped together an absolutely gorgeous bouquet and boutineer. It was a special touch that made our day just that more memorable.
