Superb! I’ve been somewhat dissatisfied with the pizza in and around Gainesville for a while now, so when I first found out about House of Pizza I approached it with a degree of trepidation. I had been burned far too often. I was beginning to think that pizza was not for me, and that warm and cheesy goodness was to be one of life’s many pleasures that I would have to settle for mediocrity in. I was wrong. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the proprietor; a kind and upbeat gentleman who obviously takes a great deal of pride in his work. My girlfriend and I placed our orders with the man and took our seats. Within the restaurant, we observed that there is a pool table and an array of arcade machines — a huge plus for groups and parties. Our food arrived quite quickly, but even if it had taken hours it would still have been worth it. The quality of food was absolutely stellar, especially for the price. Everything is made fresh to order, in store, with a level of quality and consideration that is unparalleled in the area. I’ve been back several times, and have never left feeling dissatisfied. The man who runs the place really puts his heart into his work and his commitment to quality is really unmatched. Expect great food at a decent price with a fun atmosphere and little in the way of wait time. 5⁄5

The place is wonderful. The pizza and breadstick were very good. It was good enough for my wife to say it was good and she almost never tells me I picked a great place. The owner was really nice. Overall, we had two great experiences here.

Really good food at really good prices. The décor is definitely lacking but the owner is really nice and the service is good. The pizza always taste fresh and is way better than pizza hut or dominos. Best bang for your buck in town.

This is a new pizza place located in the spot CiCi’s pizza used to be. The menu is written in chalk on the wall as you walk in and then you order at the counter. We ordered a large pan-style pepperoni pizza. The owner was very friendly and offered us 2 different types of breadsticks to try with marinara and garlic butter(for free) while we waited for our pizza. Both types of sticks were delicious as was the sauce. The pizza arrived in an expected amount of time, but it was way too heavy on the sauce for my taste. All in all, it was a pleasant experience because the owner was friendly, but the pizza just wasn’t as good as I hoped. It was decent, but there are just too many other pizza places nearby that have better pizza. That being said, there are several interesting pizza options on the menu that may be much better(My wife and I are just simple cheese and pepperoni type folks). It’s worth a shot!
