Visited couple of hookah places in the city, if you wish to have nice, relaxing atmosphere with large variety of tobacco flavours(even custom made) this is the place. Thier prices are competitive and their service is excellent

Me and my friends wanted to try something new as we had tried both Sheesha and Kava, Sheesha being our go to. These were my thoughts on the location and service: — Location isn’t bad, plenty of parking, easy access. — Seating was good, much better than Kava on a busy night. — Much brighter than either Sheesha or Kava, not as laid back of an atmosphere. — Once we were seated, it took a while for our order to be taken. Then once more of our party arrived, it took even longer for them to have their order taken. — In the area where we were sat, I kept getting a slight smell of something that smelled like vomit. This wasn’t very pleasant, and I’m not sure what it was. — The hookah was delivered pretty quick once ordered. Now for my thoughts on the important matter, the actual smoking of the hookah, most of these were experienced by everyone in my party as we ordered 3 hookahs between 5 people: — From the very first draw I was not impressed. Small pieces of coal came all the way through and coated the inside of my mouth. — It took me a few minutes of hard drawing to get the bowl lit properly. — Once I got it lit, the smoke wasn’t incredibly thick.(I prefer very thick smoke) — I ordered Starbuzz Tropical Fruit, they were out of Blue Mist which was a shame. The flavor wasn’t very strong. Not necessarily bad, just not very strong. — The coal on my friends hookah essentially disintegrated when he tried to knock ash off and turn it over. It took about 10 minutes to get a new coal. — Me and another friend in my party both left feeling ill. We both smoke often, so we are used to the effects of hookah, and this was not a positive feeling. Overall I wasn’t very impressed. We were all in agreement that we would stick to Sheesha from now on.

This café is great and conveniently located on 34th just north of Archer(same plaza where Center Stage used to be) for those who like to avoid downtown crowds or don’t live downtown. Another perk of the location is the FREE and ample parking. It is ornately decorated, with a very comfortable seating arrangement and low mood lighting. There is plenty of space in the main room, a little more space in a second side room, and there are a few private rooms in the rear. They have an extensive menu, including three different brands of hookah tobacco(priced at $ 9.99, 12.99, and 15.99), a wide variety of drinks(tea, beer, soda, shakes, etc.), and a decent snack menu. The hookahs come with two coals and a bowl of peanuts. Ours also had some sort of light-up thing in the water reservoir that lit up every time someone inhaled. We tried the 12.99 hookah(raspberry kamikaze) and it was very fragrant. The hookah seemed a little harsh at times, but it was still good. Our server came back and checked on us often, but she never gave us another coal; then again, the first two sufficed for the duration of the tobacco. There is a large, flat-panel TV on the wall, which plays Middle Eastern music videos. It was a little loud for my taste, but it was interesting nonetheless. They also sell hookahs and tobacco and pipes. They accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Recommended if you’re in the area and don’t want to venture downtown to the other hookah lounges.

Cool little hookah spot. Great atmosphere to relax. Its nice that its not so crowded as the other places on university ave. The owners are nice. The only way this place could improve if it had a beer and wine license or a liquor license. But still overall my choice over the others around.

Have gone here a few times recently, and each time I go the service seems to suck more and more. Theres only one guy Ive ever seen run the place and he is super inattentive lately. Was here just 2 days ago, my friends and I were the only people in the place, and he had an attitude taking our order plus took forever to bring out more coals. Dont get me wrong, I love the place and the cinnamon apple tea is awesome, but they seriously should either get rid of this guy or give him some damn Xanax.

we visited two Hookah lounges in Gainesville, and found both to be okay, but really nothing special. The review written about this place mentioned belly dancing on Sat nites, but we were there on a Saturday night around 10pm and didn’t see anything that even remotely suggested there had been or would be any live dancing at all. the atmosphere was VERY low-key, almost bland. their Turkish coffee is quite tasty, for sure. never saw any waitresses — just the one kid working at the counter — but he was definitely attentive re: bringing a new coal, bringing our drinks. also appreciated the disposable plastic mouthpieces. so — Hookah Nite Café — not extraordinary, but not awful, either. would probably head back there if i’m ever visiting Gainesville again.

Love this place, tucked away in the middle of some weird stores, but right around the corner of archer and 34th. Their hookah’s are great, they’re serious about their tobacco and offer three or four varieties. One of the few places who still blend rose mint. Waitresses are pretty easy to track down to replace coals. Their coffee is divine, if you’re into turkish coffee. Grape leaves are delicious, and this from a grape leaf junkie. Baklava is really sweet and really good with coffee. They have live belly dancing Saturday nights, and it’s hands down one of the best kept secrets of Gainesville!
