I have been meaning to stop by for some time but kept missing it before they closed. Actually made it on time tonight and glad I did. I bought the classic ham sandwich combo which was a great value for all I hot. A sandwich that was extremely tasty, chips, a cookie, and a drink for 7 buck. Good food and very friendly staff. I def be going back again soon.

This is a nice place with good food. I came here for lunch and had a fantastic sandwich. You can’t go wrong with Honeybaked Ham products.

Excellent ham, horrible hospitality. Bought a $ 70 ham, guy rings me up, puts the ham in a bag, hands it to me, and not a word from him. Thank you is all he needed to say. Either needs better training or needs a different job!

I accidentally found this place a few months ago when walking to best buy. I finally decided to stop in today for lunch. The interior is small with 5 or 6 small tables and a soda machine. I ordered the Betta Cheedar and Ham sandwich and it came with a pickle and chips. The sandwich was good but nothing about the sandwich stood out. The sandwich had plain bread, ham, melted cheddar cheese, and mayo. Unfortunately this is a bad location for a Honey Baked Ham Café with places like Panera and Potbelly right across the street that offer a wider menu variety and more seating. The location is also hidden in the corner with very little advertising. It would be hard for me to go back with all the other fast casual sandwich choices in the same shopping center. This location also has catering options to order a ham or one of Honey Baked Ham’s signature sides.

Everyone loves a honey ham for the holidays and there’s just as good as any location I have been to. my only issue a couple of times I stopped in to grab a sandwich for the husband and the ham was really dried out, not sure how they are storing the sandwich ham but be for warned it might be dry and the bread was stale. So stick with the whole or half hams slice your own. The staff not rude or overly nice just seem to be warm bodies sometimes that’s all you need

Been to Honeybaked probably 10 or 12 twelve times now and I have only been disappointed with one sandwich, the chicken salad. I’ve seen chicken salad with grapes before, but it’s just not for me. Other then that everything I have ordered from HHC has been really good. A little hint for you; go to the website and you can find a variety of coupons. The last one I saw got me a sandwich(ANY one on the menu), side, and drink for like $ 6.50! On top of that there were coupons for whole hams, half hams, pies, etc…

My mom won’t eat any other ham. My mom has always raved about this place. On Thanksgiving or X-Mas she’d get a full ham. It’s delicious. I know what you’re thinking. Ham. Big deal. Well, it is a big deal because the ham at this place is just so much better than anywhere else. We were making some medianoche sandwiches one time, and we hard that this place had opened in Gainesville so we made th road trip up there. The only problem is that it’s very, very pricey.

I have had a whole ham from here for holiday dinner and it was very good and ordering/pickup was easy. I recently decided to dine in and ordered a ham sandwich. The sandwich was stuffed with ham and very good and reasonably priced, but the guy taking the order(manager I guess) was pretty short and rude. Not to mention 2 or 3 of the apparently off duty employees were blocking the counter carrying on with him. If that wasn’t the case, it would have been a 4 star rating.

I really like honey baked hams, its a great product and we take one with us to the beach every year and use it on sandwiches. I’m not sure what I was expecting going to the store for a late lunch but it fell short. I wasnt starving so the two of us split their ham sandwich. lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, on a Hawaiian like bread. Identical to what I make every day at the beach. That sandwich plus two drinks came to 9 dollars and change! Either they’re whoring me on the 2 drinks or the sandwich was over priced, either way it did not feel worth it.

** 3.5 stars ** I’ve noted the existence of this place since last Winter — every time I go into the Best Buy in Gainesville — I think in a Homer Simpson droolesque way — «Honey Baked Ham»(insert loud drooling noises). So yesterday afternoon I went in for a late lunch. I wanted to try something besides ham(go figure). The soup of the day was a 7 bean and ham soup — but they were out of it. So I ordered the special of the day — a BBQ sandwich on a Bakers bun, with a side of cole slaw, a bag of BBQ potato chips, a soda, and a slice of carrot cake — all for $ 7.00 and change. The BBQ sandwich comes with fresh Romaine lettuce and slices of raw red onions, and a side of BBQ sauce. They also normally offer slices of tomato, but have suspended this until the gov gets a handle on the whole Salmonella issue. I applied some of the BBQ sauce and lettuce and onions to the sandwich and went to town. It was a decent, respectable BBQ sandwich — but not on the same level as what Old Smokehouse over in Haymarket puts out. I wanted the sauce to be a bit spicier — I asked for hot sauce, but they were all out. Overall, a good place — I will be back to try the soups, ham sandwiches, as well at some point — to buy a whole Honey Baked Ham!
