I tried this truck at the Jaxson Market last night in Jacksonville. While I generally try not to write reviews on food establishments until I’ve visited the location more than once and have had multiple dishes I would be remiss not to support this great new truck! They were serving a handful of entrees– kimchi tacos, gangnam fries and a bulgogi bowl. I had the bulgogi bowl, made up of rice, vegan bulgogi(consisted of seitan in a delicious marinate) with a cucumber kimchi sprinkled with sesame seeds. As a life long vegetarian(turned pescetarian)/ food lover and having lived in the NYC and Boston where there are plentiful vegan restaurants I can say that this meal competes with the best of them. The components were flavorful and the cucumber kimchi had the perfect amount of ‘crunch.’ The couple that run this truck are also adorable! Although it was a busy night, we did not feel rushed(which I feel easily happens at a lot of these events at other food trucks), given samples and she took the time to explain how they make the dishes etc. The food also came out pretty quickly. I will definitely be back!!!

Welcome to the new kids on the block! Asian, Korean, Rice Bowls, Kimchi, Vegan and more. Heart & Seoul certainly has put their soul into a little bit of everything. I indulged on the fried dumplings. At $ 5 for 4 of them, it was a very good choice. They contained spinach, shrooms, carrots, tofu and ginger. A really good blend of ingredients that was tasty and extremely enjoyable. One thing I was disappointed in was that they were fried too long. The edges were so over crisp that they could not be cut w/a fork, so I just ate the insides of the dumplings. I know I’ll be back again though as I can’t wait to try a rice bowl. Practice makes perfect. Current health inspection: 0-high priority, 0-intermediate &3-basic violations.
