My husband and I ate there several times and we were not impressed. I kept thinking that maybe it was just the meals we were ordering… or a bad night… but after the third time, we called it quits. The salsa tasted like water with hot sauce in it and the shell of my taco salad was almost not edible it was so chewy. The other times, the food was just ‘fair’.Wait times were always excessive, regardless of how many staff they had working there. I will give them credit for the beer being cold :) I’d have to agree with other reviews… given the prices, you can get MUCH better food at a few other places in town. It was close to my home, so I was really hoping it would have been wonderful.

Ingredients weren’t fresh, leading to a sub par taste. The atmosphere is clean and of the average Mexican décor. Wait staff was attentive, but solemn. Wouldn’t return, too many other places better to choose from.

Went for lunch. Salsa was spicy, fresh, and tasty! Guacamole, cheese dip, and nachos were all delicious! Can’t wait to return!

Visited 3 times now. The beer was cold. My bean burrito was delicious and the fajita veggies had a great flavor. Since my first trip, I’ve stopped by two other times just to get pints of salsa and chips. They have nailed the salsa better than many others.

Let me start by saying the food wasn’t «bad» — but it wasn’t as good as the numbers of cars out front would seem to suggest. There Re always lots of cars out front, so we assumed this place must be Really Good. It wasn’t really good. It was mediocre at best. It is clean and they were friendly, but the best Mexican food in Gainesville GA is still at Pueblos or Rio Balsas. The real kicker is that the prices here are the same as those two, much. better restaurants! I hate to say it, but if you want the best food for your money, look elsewhere. This place is close to our home, so we’re pretty disappointed it wasn’t. dry good.
