Fantastic course — I can’t say enough good things about Chicopee Woods. They have a pretty unique setup of 3×9 hole courses, of which you play two. The holes are very well laid out and demand precisely placed shots; fairways reward good tee-offs. One thing I really appreciated is that the water is scenic and not punitive. Except for a par 3(Mill course #2 if I’m not mistaken) where you have to clear ~120 yards of the wet stuff, there isn’t much to get in your way. Really nice dwarf grass on the greens makes for fast putting. Well maintained, although I did see a some more litter than expected. Great driving range to boot. Pace of play was 4.5 hours. We did have to wait about 15 minutes for two groups to clear a par 3(second par 3 on the Mill course). Not the worst thing in the world. Rolling hills make this course super interesting. Enjoy it!
