I wish I could give zero stars. I found this company on Unilocal.Called, and told him how far I needed to go(checked the mileage before calling). He quoted me $ 13 and a 17 minute wait time for arrival. 28 minutes later he shows up. He didn’t know the address I gave him, and he put it in his GPS. I told him the main street corners and told him I could give him directions(as I had it pulled up on my phone but already knew how to get there). Half way to my destination he said«am I supposed to turn here? «. I told him no, still a few more miles and reminded him he had his GPS. Well… By the time we get there, the price was $ 25. WTF??? I asked for a price before I even had him show to pick me up. Also, it is cash only(I guess no credit in case you want to dispute the charges). So much for this cab service, I shall never be using them again. FYI — he said he had been in town here for several years… guess he never got out and about to check out the town… #fail

Hopped a ride with Mark, and his whip was clean as a whistle. Jovial fella, passing the 15 minutes from Gainesville Regional to my hotel with pleasant conversation and waxing historic about my collegiate days gone by, and how the area has grown up. A metered fare with reasonable rates, until the fees got tacked on. Luggage and airport pickup charges nickel and dimed the total up to $ 17, pre-tip. Hailing from Boston, the land of infinite cab fares, this was a reasonable expense, until I later hailed an UberX and found the return trip(in the same absence of traffic) only cost $ 12, tip included. Net net: these guys run the only game in town, and might make their bank off business folk or tech troglodytes who are too rushed to seek cheaper alternatives. On their own, and with service in mind, a strong four stars. In the vein of competitive rankings, though, a wobbly two.
