I love Rita’s! It’s my favorite«ice cream» spot. I love mixing different flavor a and seeing how they taste together. After being away from Columbus for a few months it was a stop I had to make when I came home for the weekend. 2 thumbs up to the Swedish fish/peach/mango mix that I made up!

Great for something cool. Staff is always nice, never a long wait, and my whole family loves it. Prices are about average for ice cream/custard so no issues. They have plenty of coupons they send out too. Score! They added shaded tables which is nice. Parking is limited but my family and I walk. Live close. Always great and tasty.

I am glad Rita’s is in Columbus. I just moved from Rochester, where there is only one Rita’s. There are a few in Columbus, albeit in suburban locations. Like I wrote in my Rochester Rita’s review: «Italian Ice individually = yum Frozen custard individually = yum Italian ice + Frozen custard(gelati) together = Mind-blowingly yum» This Gahanna Rita’s is somewhat of a hole-in-the-wall. It’s attached to a pizza store and there is no real inside seating area. They have a few bench tables outside, but that’s about it. The portions seem larger than the Rochester’s Rita’s. They are not in «downtown» Gahanna, but they aren’t too far. It’s pretty much isolated amongst random retail stores, so there’s no place to walk around. A group of us visited Rita’s after glow-in-the-dark mini-golf. They are right across the street, which makes it a convenient post-putting activity.

Freshing and delicious! Rita’s have many variety of flavors and toppings! Cool down with this good stuff. And on the back of Rita’s is Frankie’s Pizza, also owned by Rita’s. Prices are good and there is outdoor seating. The only troublesome thing is getting in and out of their small parking lot. But when you get the ice, that doesn’t matter. There’s also a location in Westerville.

What a fun little place. After hitting up the glow putt, a couple of us had one free Rita’s, so our group headed over. It was a nice night to sit outside, and I enjoyed my peach water ice, and my girlfriend had the mint chocolate chip. I only got a regular, which was 2.49, and honestly I didn’t need any more than that. It was a nice refreshing treat on a warm summer night!

Mango gelati, FTW. Vanilla custard, mango Italian ice, vanilla custard. Layered deliciousity. Try it — IFYOUDARE!(really, what’s wrong with me; I’d apologize but I’m ridiculous and not likely to change anytime soon)

How can one not be a fan of free ice cream? To celebrate the first day of spring they were giving out free ice cream, so I was willing to give Rita’s another chance after not liking it in Westerville. I got the passion fruit and it was delicious! Super sweet and refreshing, perfect for this crazy early summer weather we’ve been having! My son had the cotton candy, not so great, very artificial, and my husband the lemonade which could have been more sweet but was ok. At least I found one flavor I love, and will have to give the custard a try next time.
