Academy Park

This park is very clean and it’s in a nice neighborhood. The pavilion with picnic tables is nice and the play area was fun for my 2 and 4 year olds. The primary reason for this park is the baseball diamonds as there are several. But it’s good to know there is another park with a play area around here. It’s in an unsuspecting location, unless you go that way frequently. I’d definitely take my kids here again if I was going that way. We had dinner under the pavilion, there were several little league games going on, and lots of kids on the playground.

Enjoyable and quiet park. If you like taking your kids to a quiet playground, this is for you. My kids never have to wait to play on any of the equipment. It’s well maintained. A big plus is that there are clean bathrooms located next to the playground.
I’ve walked a few of the paved trails, and enjoyed my time on them. If you’re a runner, I saw a nice, steep spot for hill work. Definitely give Academy Park a try.
