Waffle House

Very yummy food and the service was good, too. And very affordable, too! The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I will eat here again if I’m ever out this way again.

Food was okay and cheap but I would not come back to this place. The environment is too unfriendly. We were greeted upon arrival but it seemed very fake. Then the waitress did not make eye contact or even smiled. They were not rude, maybe this is just how people are in SC, but it created a very uncomfortable environment to have breakfast. Also, the tone the waitress used with the cook was a bit rude and another waitress kept on starting at us which made me very uncomfortable. We are from California and maybe we are used to a different, more friendly, kind of service.

Was really looking forward to eating at the Waffle House. Unfortunately, our visit ended up being an unsavoury experience. The staff offered no greeting or acknowledgement when our party of three adults and two children entered. We ordered waffles, but it took them forever to bring them to our table and the Cook kept handling the food with his bare hands, which he then proceeded to wipe on the side of his clothes. Our waiter kept getting our order wrong and kept forgetting to bring us coffee or refilling. Another server kept smoking cigarettes (inside the restaurant) a few feet from us, even in the presence of a mother feeding her baby. The chicken apple pecan had no pecans and only bits of tiny desiccated Apple bits. Not recommended.

nobody was inside except my group of friends and another person. where did everyone go? for these prices, i would have expected everyone to eat here.

Always the best southern fast food here! My cousins & I got in trouble for talking too loud ~they yell the orders to the cook & he couldn’t hear.
A trip south woulcn’t be the same without WH!
