ABSOLUTELYAWFUL! Rude owner. Overpriced food. We didn’t get half of it. Disgusting environment. DONOTGOHERE!!! The only reason we did was because it was late, every other place was closed, and we were starving. The owner kept persuading us to come in and we almost felt bad saying no. Big mistake!!!

Had to leave early because of a drunk making trouble. Went back to get credit card and they added a $ 25.00 «surcharge». Let me get this straight… you got paid and then you penalized me for leaving my card? Was that considered«rent for the night» for holding my card? I hope that paid their rent because it’s the last dollar they’ll get from me or any of my friends. I wouldn’t even have mined them adding a respectable tip.

most of you guys are complaining about the service and how long it takes to get your food… think about it idiots… its a small bar and ONLY1 or 2 cooks in the back and over 30 people in the bar. BEPATIENT!!! these people come to work every night dealing with drunk assholes. I personally enjoyed the food. the cooks are doing their thing in the back. Most of y’all don’t know good food if it slapped you in the face. yeah its small, but you meet a lot of different people and SOME are friendly. People on here are just rude and in a rush. GOSOMEWHEREELSEIF U WANTFASTSERVICE. Food does takes a while to cook properly… any who, the live music and bands are awesome! love coming there and dancing after a stressful week. You can talk shit all you want about this place and never come back, but at the end of the day… Bartenders are getting paid and so are the cooks and people are still coming and enjoying their time. I guess this bar wasn’t meant for YOUNGSTERS. MOREFORMATUREGROUPOFPPL. =)(and I’m in my 20s saying this) xoxo KEEPITUPTHEBRICK!!! I STILLVISITANDLOVEYOU

Just went into this this bar. It was myself and three friends. We went in to play darts, but couldn’t because the tables were in front of the dart boards because they moved them for the live music that was about to start. We decided to leave because we couldn’t play darts play and because it smelled like a corpse was under the floor boards. On our way out one of the patrons told the bartender we were leaving because we «did not fit in there» Whatever that means. That’s too bad.

The service was awful. The food was terrible. The owner was downright rude. I would never go here again.

Such a disappointment. Went there for Oktoberfest and sat outside to enjoy live music. I was expecting Jon Taffer from Bar Rescue to walk in. Took forever to get food and it wasn’t good either. Waitresses were smoking and drinking on the job. Sorry we won’t be back.

A dive bar, and I arrived with the guys on a Wednesday night to check out the open-mic night. We weren’t there for drinks, or the billiards tourney — we were there to check out the OM format and get some food in our stomachs after rehearsing for a couple hours. Regarding the food — it’s pretty durn good bar food… between the nachos and the cooked to perfection burgers, I was very very happy with the chow. Refills on the sodas, while not always prompt, were still there for us when we needed them. Service, from both the bartender and the cook, was very friendly. The cook came out to chat with us about the food, to make sure we liked it and offered suggestions on what to try on the next visit. The OM format was acoustic, with a couple microphones set up. Again, as with other OM nights in other places, it appears there are some guys auditioning for whoever will listen, whoever might be into their style to hook up with other musicians to maybe get something going. A couple people were dancin’ to some blues but most of the patrons were concentrating on the billiards as opposed to the music. I think some Ordinary Sinners could liven up the OM night with some rockin acoustic grooves for a few songs. The place is not set up for good acoustics — wood floors, wainscot & brick walls, nothing to absorb sound, so conversations were difficult if one wanted to talk over the music or just over any of the background noise between songs. The Brick offers live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights as well, although I don’t know and haven’t heard of the bands they have booked, they do look interesting enough. There were baseball games broadcast on a number of TV’s throughout the place, so keeping up with the scores — if one is interested, isn’t a problem.
