Loved this store! Very clean and organized. Large store with lots to browse. The books are even alphabetical! Nice staff as well, definitely will go back.

Mostly medium(or less) quality items. Most seemed to be in good shape! The Store is Clean and the prices are Great! Volunteer staff members were Great! One let me borrow his Tape measurer to measure my Car to see if a Table would fit!

Checking out a thrift shop is kind of like scoring 30 or so yard sales in an hour, except you have expectations of finding things well organized, and at low, low prices, that make it worth your while sorting through all the nonsense and ancient white elephants. This place irked me because, like some of the well known charitable thrift stores, the clothes are not organized by SIZE, like every normal store in the world, but by COLOR, like you would be happy to do in your own closet… This arrangement is terrible for shopping, though, because you must schlep through racks and racks of «EWW» to find one«WOW» item. If you have the time to kill, go for it. I personally cannot do it, so I quickly skirt around the rest of the place. Hmm, they say this is for a charity, but the purses are almost all $ 7.00 or more, and many of them probably were selling for about that new at a cheap place like Wal-Mart. I saw nothing worth buying there. The«tween» daughter did find a cool skirt from Aeropostale and a pair of Khakis from the Gap in great condition for less than $ 2.00 each. Score two for the girl! My younger daughter seized an old poetry book, and walked around reading poems to me while I cased out the kitchenware isles, which were extensive. Amid the faded, scratched Tupperware and miscellaneous cast offs of Chinese origin, I found a fabulous clay roaster pan with a gorgeous lid big enough for a Thanksgiving or Hanukkah turkey in fabulous condition for $ 12. SCORE one more for the shopper today!

I like this thrift store. I agree with the other reviews that you have to go through a lot of the bad to get to the good stuff. The prices are pretty good, and I did find a pair of Gucci Nike’s last year, for $ 5! On Wednesday it’s 10% off for seniors, so be prepared to be in competition with them.

Pretty big place with a big selection, but there is a lot of «not-so-good» that you need to filter out. Some prices are really reasonable, and some not so much. My kids hate that they don’t have more toys, and the ones they have are often missing pieces or dirty, but seems there are not many thrift stores with toys in the area. Wouldnt drive way out there to go, but I stop whenever I’m in the area.

One of my favorite thrift shops in the Triangle! It’s HUGE, which is good and bad… the bad is that you have to sort through a LOT of junk to find the good stuff… but, the good is that when you find it, you’ve probably found a steal, since their prices are dirt cheap! They recently opened a separate store in the same shopping center for kids’ items– that’s how much stuff they have! Nice selection of housewares & books, too! Love this place!

I only found a few books and a yahtzee game(with all pieces and a scoring tablet!) when I was here, but if I lived near Guardian Thrift, I would be in serious trouble. They had a whole rack of wedding dresses that were $ 20 each and more racks of evening gowns that were $ 5-$ 20. I have no idea what I need a wedding dress or evening gown for, but trust me, I could figure out something :) There is a huge amount of stuff here and it’s very well organized for a thrift store. Go!

This place is a GEM. I wouldn’t drive all the way out there just for the heck of it, so lucky for me it’s between my house and school. Sometimes they have total steals in clothing(I got a a pair of Marc Jacobs kitten-heel sandals for $ 2.95) but most often it’s housewares that you luck out on there. It’s HUGE so it’s not a duck-in and duck-out kind of place. I wouldn’t go without an hour to spend, because it’s not worth it.
