Crazy Glaze Ceramic Studio & Art Education Center

We love Crazy Glaze! My daughter has been painting pottery there since she was about 4. It’s a fun thing to do together, and actually be able to use the pieces. We gave also given them as grandparents gifts! The studio fees are included in the price that you pay for the actual piece, and to me, those prices are reasonable. There is something there for everyone in regards to style, piece, and price.

I started out by taking my 6 year old for something fun to do together. Now I want to go alone lol. I can spend hours on a piece so usually end up going back a couple different times. When my creativity is stuck they are sure to have an idea to get you going again. So many tips and tricks to learn. When I win the lottery I want one of everything. Almost everything.

Its sounds so much fun… paint your own pottery. The first time I went, we went with a group of ladies on Sunday. We took our time painting our piece. The staff was helpful (only one person working… so she was pulled in a million directions) but it was fun! We picked our pieces up a week later.
However, I went back a few weeks ago. Again on a Sunday, just two of us this time. once again a very busy day they only have one lady working. I am unsure of her name (not the owner Lynn). While the lady was helpful in explaining it all, it was very obvious she hated her job. When someone would ask a question, she would make fun of that customer behind their back. I watched this happen about 6 times without two hours. She would routinely look at me or my friend and say «they are getting on my nerves!» I can’t tell you how unprofessional this was. This put a totally bad taste in my mouth.
I went back a week later to pick up my piece, but it wasn’t ready. They claimed they emailed me or called me, but I never received anything from them.
I went back a week later. While I am waiting (same lady was helping another girl) she looked at me and said «Uggg…they need to complain to Lynn not me.» She said this to me, but in front of many customers. I picked my piece up and left, I could not take her mouth any longer.
Needless to say I won’t be back.
