Stopped here with my daughter for a quick bite to eat and order a cheese pizza pie. The service was fast and friendly. The pizza was delicious it really hit the spot. One of my favorite places to stop for a bite when visiting the area. It never disappoints. The place did feel a little dingy however. It’s be nice if they stay a little more on top of the cleanliness of the overall dining area. Otherwise, keep up the good job with the pizza!

Holy deliciousness! This pizza is insanely good. We order the NY with just cheese and it is easily our favorite pizza we have had in North Carolina, thus far. The service is very friendly and efficient. Honestly, there’s not too much to say about it, other than go grab some!

My great friends invited me to Assaggio’s for dinner. The staff was friendly and professional! Presentation is key when choosing pizza! It was love at first glance! Their 18″ pizza pie put a big smile on my face! I also had a fresh delicious side salad! I plan to revisit even if it’s a est. 1 hr from me. It’s truly worth it!

By far the best pizza in town, the service is always excellent! Every time I come in the girls always know what I want and how I want it cooked.

Last night my wife and son wanted pizza and not normal delivery. We have tried other pizzeria in the area and their service was not up to par. Assaggio’s was excellent though a the restaurant is a bit hard to keep warm in winter. The food was excellent and I really judge pizza on how it taste next for breakfast and Assaggio’s is spot on delicious.

Great food, good service. We got a pizza and the Stromboli and both were perfect. We’re fans of this place and come here often.

My wife and I were moving and had packed up our kitchen. We heard that we should try Assaggio’s. We had great service and the food was excellent for a quick Italian dinner. After three trips in one week and great all were experiences, I would highly recommend this small town treasure.

First-time customer… I really wanted to like this place… We LOVE to support local businesses. I’m a Brooklyn native, so I kinda know pizza… Their pizza was good, though the crust was thin and a little dry. The service was quick and polite… ATFIRST… I ordered an additional single slice of Sicilian. Waited ten minutes from them to reheat it. When we asked, they said it’d be out«in a minute or two»…Five minutes later the Manager came to the table to clear the plates and ask how everything was… We asked about the Sicilian, and she checked and told us it would be another ten minutes… I told her we’d been waiting for 15 minutes already, and she got pissed! She said that they had a lot of take out orders and things went into the oven in order… I said, «That’s fine… Maybe if someone mentioned that it would be 20 – 25 minutes for a slice, I’d have reconsidered the order», and asked for my money back… She stormed off… NOAPOLOGY… came back with my $ 3, handed it off and left without a word… Like I said, I’d love to support this local business, but we will NEVER go back… Any business owner who can’t appreciate my business, or at least TRY to be nice when there’a a problem, doesn’t deserve my business… We’ll dine elsewhere…

I’ve only ever had delivery from Assaggio’s(using Fuquay Takeout) but everything is exactly what you expect. We always order salads(Caesar and House) plus the Eggplant Parm Sandwich and the Eggplant Parm Dinner(no pasta, just veggies). It’s more than enough for my husband and I, plus leftovers for later. Very well packaged for delivery, priced well, good food — nothing crazy but good basics/standard Americanized Italian. A great, easy meal.

We love to get Calzones and Stromboli from here as take out. It’s a decent dine in experience as well. Best Italian food in Fuquay-Varina. It’s fun to watch the guys make the dough and whirl it way up in the air an twirl it on one hand.

Probably best pizza in Fuquay. That’s not saying much but it is what it is. Solid pizza. 99% of the time we get take out. The only issue I have with the place is the staff when we do eat in. High school girls who love to text is what you will find. It does not take away from the food but if the waitstaff was a bit better the I would give them 4 stars. Pasta and desserts are excellent too.

Excellent food, staff, and customer service. I have only had the pizza, cal zone, or Stromboli because when I’m not much of a pasta fan but everything does look delisious

We’ve only ordered from here once because it bugs me that I have to pay a $ 3.99 delivery fee to order from them through . We order from fuquay takeout a lot and typically don’t mind the 3.99 fee as we can order pretty much any type of food we want and have it delivered within an hour. But it’s frustrating when ordering from a pizza place to have to pay a 3.99 charge(+ tip) as opposed to free delivery or $ 2 charge which is what most other local pizza places charge. And these local places are equally delicious(J & S in FV&NY Pizza in Holly Springs). I admit I’ve never had Assaggio’s pizza and maybe it’s worth the extra few bucks– I know I loved their chicken parm sub and hubby enjoyed his Italian sub enough for us to order again. Just hate that extra fee! Makes for a pretty expensive(but yummy) sandwich!

I have eaten here several times for lunch and the customer service has always been great. My meals here have only consisted of either their calzones or pizza(by the slice), I have yet to try their sandwiches or pasta. The atmosphere here feels very mom & pop-ish with plenty of tables and chairs in the center area with booths on the sides. The place can get noisy as the eating area is fairly open and the flooring is concrete. For their pizza, I have only had it by the slice, which consists of a reheated piece of pizza. I personally do not like reheated pizza, as the cheese is usually gummy when compared to a freshly made pizza. On one of my visits I ordered two slices and I was a little disappointed as it tasted reheated. What I do like here are the calzones. They are pretty tasty, especially w/ham, ricotta, and fresh spinach. If you ask, they will pretty much put whatever you want inside them. The dough is great and the sauce, with a little added red pepper has just the right flavor for me. Overall, I am sure their pizza tastes better when ordered as a whole pie, fresh. If come for lunch by yourself, I recommend getting the calzone. The calzone and a refillable drink will run you around $ 10, which is a little pricey but the portion is large.

I’d always seen this place from the road, but never had the inclination to stop in and try it for myself until a friend suggested it for lunch. I’m so glad that I went! I only had the pizza, so I can’t give a lot of information on the different foods, but next time I go I want to try one of the sandwiches and maybe the cheese sticks. The pizza was delicious though!

Good food, better than west coast pizza by far! Only downside is the wait time, but it isn’t too bad compared to other places.

If you live in Fuquay(or surrounding areas), Assagios isn’t a bad choice for your pizza cravings. This is the first place we tried when we moved to this area 5 ½ years ago and being from the the North, we weren’t jumping over the moon, but were adequately satisfied. The Calzones leave something to be desired… they need more stuffing and aren’t very big. Their pasta is good, but nothing you can’t make yourself at home. If you try it, go for the pizza. I will say that the owner is there almost every time we go and everyone is friendly, so for service I would give them more stars.
