Wow. If I could give this store a negative star rating, I would. I brought my 9-year-old son in there last Friday to buy a helicopter. He had saved up his money for this product over several months, and he spent $ 127. We could have bought the product online for less than $ 100, but I told him that we should go through a local merchant because we would get better support. When we bought the product, the young man behind the counter told us that it was good that we were buying from the local store because they had all the parts needed to fix the helicopter, should anything go wrong, and that they would help us. We opened the package on Sunday and put in the batteries. The small battery that goes inside the helicopter wouldn’t take a charge. I always get nervous when I take a product out of the box and it doesn’t work. I called NextGen today, on Tuesday, and told the woman who answered the phone what had happened. She said, «Call the manufacturer.» I said, «Wait, I just bought the product from you, and it doesn’t work, right out of the box.» She said, «You bought it on Friday and you waited till today to call?» I said, «Yes, that’s just four days.» When I tried to ask her if she would take it back, she said, no, and then talked over me. When I tried to interrupt her, she accused me of shouting and then hung up on me. I’m disappointed because I always try to buy from local merchants over online outlets. I’ve learned my lesson with NextGen. Never again.
