I just wasted an hour of my life. My first plate was dirty with lots of caked on food that did not come from my burger. The server did not think it was a big deal but did take it back to be redone. 30 mins later I did finally get my order. The order was returned by what I assume was a manger but since he did not speak when he put my plate down and left I can not be sure. The other three in my party had been done for quite awhile at this point. Good news for them half the burger was raw so it did not take me long to finish. Unfortunately we had already paid before I noticed how undercooked my meal was. The waitress again apologized and offered to put us on a list for our next visit. Since we are traveling and will never stop there again I did not see the point. I honestly don’t blame Logan’s for this disaster. I blame 5 Guys who was having grill problems and had to close. Otherwise we would have never been in this situation.

Ate here after an evening of shopping with a friend. What we witnessed really turned my stomach. As we came in, I noticed that the table behind us was chatting with the manager, There was a lot of tension between them. What I could garner from the bits of conversation that floated by was that the lady’s steak wasn’t done right and the manager didn’t care. That gave me a moment to pause, but our Waitress was fine, she told us that there was a new cook on the grill and that was causing some problems. We placed our orders, and waited. During our wait the Manager came over and FLICKED his card at the guest. He didn’t hand it politely, no, there was attitude behind it, something that said he didn’t care what they thought. After a while, I spoke with the previous guest and she said that the man in question was the General Manager of the location, and that she’d had a problem with her steak, it wasn’t cooked properly. She’d asked for it to be redone. The manager hadn’t given any apology, he didn’t offer her replacement or anything. When she asked for the general manager’s information, she was informed HE was the general Manager. His behavior was deplorable, the fact that he would treat a customer like this on any level speaks volumes in how he feels about his job. He apparently hates it. When I posted my tip on Unilocal,Logan’s Roadhouse Corporate responded to me, wanting to know what happened, I gave them the information, including this person’s name. They said someone would get in touch with me — not that it will matter, that was the only time I’d ever be visiting that location, However, to date, no one has gotten in touch with me. It saddens me that this location is being treated in such a way. Clearly their management team needs work.

Unfortunately this was one of my worst Logan’s experience! From the beginning to end it was horrible! The host never smiled and welcomed us. They simply said name please. Unacceptable! Our server was absolutely unforgettable in the worst way possible. Munching on some type of food as she walked up to our table. Never knew what her name was. She continued to forget things we asked for. Our drinks were messed up. They were out of food. Never saw a manager once. Waited 25 minutes for a table and when we were sat there were about 10 empty tables around us. I myself work in a restaurant! I am one of the lead servers and I know how to treat tables close to perfection. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. Complete and utter disgust with how the entire staff never smiled as they walked past. It should also never take a server 15 minutes to return change to our table! I will never be back to this location. I will drive a little further to the Irondale location where I have never had an issue! So much for trying something new!

This by far has been the worst experience I’ve had at any Logan’s. We had to battle roaches. It took the food forever to come out and when we received it our steaks were dry and taste horrible. The manager did apologize and tried to make things better, but after the bugs plus the long wait I was over it

This particular location of Logan’s used to be great, but it has went downhill big time. First experience several months ago, I called in a to-go order, go there to pick it up, and I stand to be help for a good 20 mins, finally someone comes up, they go to check on my order, and after another 10 mins they come back to tell me that somehow they must not have put my order in and it wasn’t ready, but they will go out it together. At this time, I had been there 30 mins. To make matters worse, the same thing happened to a lady standing next to me, so 2 call on orders completely not put in the system and not ready. We stood there in all for an hour and 15 minutes. Absolutely TERRIBLE service. And the manager of the restaurant was a very rude woman. So after many months of not stepping foot back in this place, I decided to give it another try. Middle of the week, not a weekend, hoping it would be better. It wasn’t very crowded, but it took almost 10 minutes to get a table, and when we got to our table I figured out why. The whole side of the restaurant was full of dirty tables that hadn’t been buses yet. Took about 45 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was nice, but I did take a bit to get our check. I’m really disappointed with this place, it used to be one of my all time favorites, but now it’s pretty awful. Management is one of the problems. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

If were possible to give a zero star, I would do it. We were seated in a timely manner, but it went downhill from there. No waitress for better than 20 minutes, beginning to end,(well sort of, more on that later), took 2 hours and 45 minutes. During this time I did not get my tea refilled and that seemed bad until time to pay. I was charged an incorrect amount, was told it was voided, recharged the correct amount, was told that it didn’t go through, presented another card and was charged again. So the meal has been paid 3 times and they tell me not to worry, that the transactions were voided. I checked my online banking and verified that in fact that there were 2 pending transactions. I was told that I can bring copies of my bank statements, copies of the receipts, of which they kept the first two, to the restaurant next week and they will look into it. I’m calling the corporate offices and making sure that location is all over their desks. Unless you are into pain and suffering, keep going down the road.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. It took almost an hour for our food to come out. When it came out it wasn’t cooked properly. The steaks we chewy, the lobster was over cooked. I do not suggest anyone waste there time and money here for such a low quality of food and a just all around bad experience.

Your basic Logan’s experience. Had A 2 for 14.99 special. $ 2.00 up charge each for the 6oz sirloin. Or serve Brittany W was fast and friendly. Overall a good lunch while traveling.

I have to echo Matthew’s remarks as this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had. Our wait time was equivalent. It took a very long time to even be greeted, then of course the wait for food was extreme. We never received our rolls, my appetizer was soggy, so wasn’t eaten. In addition, it came after the salads and with the entrée! As for the ribeye… it was well done, should’ve been medium rare, and very chewy! Also not finished. Refills for water, even when requested, never came. I don’t know if the problem was the kitchen or the service, but I suspect it was both. We don’t live in the area, but if we did, we would not eat here again.

Logan’s has really upped their game. The ribeye steaks are better than expected and the service is good. We’ve had good food and good service for at least the last 5 times we’ve been to Logan’s. I recommend eating here!

By far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my entire life. We arrived at the restaurant at 9pm. The waiter finally came to our table to get our drinks at 9:25pm. He came back about 5 – 10 minutes late to get our food orders without our drinks. Around 9:45pm we finally received our drinks. At 10:20pm we still had not received our food that we ordered at 9:30pm so I told the waiter that we would be paying for our drinks and leaving without our food. The manager approached us and stated that she apologized for the wait and that since they would have to throw the food out anyways she would comp it and give it to us in a to-go box. At 10:35pm we finally received our food in the to-go boxes and left. We drove to our home which is about 5 – 7 miles away from the restaurant when we opened the boxes and tried the food my wife’s fries were hard as a rock and so were her chicken fingers. I tried to eat a bite of my steak but was completely brown and very chewy(I ordered a medium rare steak). I opened my baked potato only to find an almost black skinned potato that was also hard as a rock. Needless to say I will NEVER attend this restaurant nor any other Logan’s Roadhouse and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Must say, I was a bit disappointed with the service at this Logan’s. We sat at the bar and yes, there were a few folk there, but there were 2 bartenders. We were completely ignored for over 5 minutes. When one finally spoke to us, she didn’t offer a menu food or drink. We asked what bourbons they had and she said Jack Daniels. Now folks, I have a massive pet peeve about bartenders who don’t know the difference between a bourbon and whiskey. It drives me nuts! Your job is slinging drinks for the Love, but I digress. We order Jim Beam. Finally ask for a drink menu and see they have Buffalo Trace. Yay US. We order the Buffalo Trace Sour and The Devil went down to GA with devils cut Jim Beam. Without asking, she substituted Buffalo Trace for Devil’s Cut. Sigh. She had no understanding that she just changed the flavor profile of the drink. I think she thought she was doing us a favor. :(poor girl. The food was good… potato skins and sliders. Only reason this Logan’s gets 2 stars.

While on a road trip we were quite hungry and when I saw the sign at the next exit with this restaurant we were so excited to go and eat here. Many years ago I worked at a Logan’s as a Manager and loved it. What do I love about this restaurant? The décor is rustic, country atmosphere with wood floors and tables, large bar with drinks in Mason jars. Peanuts in buckets and in the past you would throw them on the floor but times have changed probably due to the oil in peanuts causing a possible safety hazard. This place is so much fun to come with a group. The drinks are excellent, prices are very reasonable. And the food is delicious. The steaks are super tasty and always cooked to perfection. They also have fresh seafood daily. When you first sit down they bring you hot yeast rolls with butter. Oh geez, these rolls are the BEST thing’s you will ever put in your mouth. When you order an entrée you also get soup or salad. I can never choose. The loaded baked potato soup is fantastic. The salads are fresh and also so good. Service is always top notch. Very friendly staff. I am so sad they closed the one we had here in South Florida as this truly is one of my favorite places to eat. Oh and they have sweet tea, yes real Southern sweet tea. If you want a great steak, burger, salad, or seafood in a very fun environment with excellent service and prices this is a must try. Oh how I miss you Logan’s. xoxoxoxoxoxo

I have always liked Logan’s but tonight was pretty bad. We went in about 6:30 or 6:45. Begin with the peanuts. I’m wary of eating anything where other hands have been to begin with but I’m hungry… the first peanut I pick up had something nasty on it. Like someone chewed up a shell and spit it into the pail. Ok pretty much set the pace for the rest of the evening apparently. No silverware or napkins on the table. The rolls come but no silverware or napkins so we have to dip the roll in the margarine. Normally we scarf down the rolls but not tonight. Ok so I’m not happy but not angry yet either. I have to go to the bathroom. Oh my dear Lord! It was nasty. The floor was nasty. The sink was nasty. I made sure to wash my hands in hot water. I felt the need of a shower. My mother-in-law comes out of the bathroom and said she had to clean just so she could use it. My husband also goes to the bathroom about the same time and comes back and he says standing at the urinal he’s slipping around in urine. Then we have waited an hour for our steaks. Our side is almost empty but I keep seeing the people who work there walking by the window … are they on strike? The meal ultimately does come, more tea(with no ice) we have warm tea. Ok and then the people behind us were loud on top of that the guy yelling — at this point my mood has definitely soured so the loud laughing and talking my nerves were grating. Like I said– normally any one or two of these things would not be worth complaining about but all of it together? I can’t blame the waiter, I’d never seen him before, he may have been new, I did leave a tip. Maybe I shouldn’t have. All in all I have never had such a bad experience at Logan’s before. It’s always been our go-to restaurant but having to re-think going there again maybe they’ll get new management or something
