I have a post office box here. I have had it since 1995 and have been coming here to pick up my mail for 20 years now. Having a post office box here is safe, reliable, and secure and it ensures I receive all important and pertinent mail from people and organizations. Davis, Ha, and Ray are original staff I have been seeing and coming in to pick up mail or have services such as sending certified and express mail. Ha, Davis, and Ray are friendly and always provide service with a smile.

I hate this branch. I really do. A perk that USPS offers is that you can go through their site and request pick-ups for the month or however long. It’s a service that they offer because at one point, someone had understood that there are small businesses who end up sending out hundreds of packages daily. We request this in the afternoon because sometimes, there simply isn’t enough time to drop off packages while being efficient. The last postal office that serviced La Mirada was a real peach. They actually came to us on a consistent daily basis. With this branch, I actually had to argue with the postal carriers for a daily pick up in the afternoon. I have hearsay backed up from just phone conversations with USPS reps that they should be arriving within the hour requested on the site. Instead, I get«pick ups ready?» at 11 am. With all that said, with daily requests made to pick up our packages, why the fuck do they just not come by at all? By the way, they close at 4:30 pm. Most branches close at 5pm or 5:30 pm. Such an inconvenient branch. They have a small FedEx Ground drop off box that is meant for envelopes. Anything 9×6×2 or bigger definitely will not fit. The USPS boxes that they have up front are also for envelopes and bubbled envelopes; boxes will not fit.
