Marianne is the best. This was my first time using her and I was very impressed!

I wish I could give ½ stars because I feel 3.5 is more accurate.
Good place to go to if you want a basic, straight-​forward, and affordable haircut. You wouldn’t go to walmart expecting Nordstrom quality, so the same principle applies here. The quality and precision of the haircuts is hit or miss. When I bring my son (toddler), they always do a good job with him (and they are super patient and understanding with kids, by the way), but with me (long hair, more stylized cut), sometimes it comes out great and sometimes they cut a bit too much. It’s fine: hair grows back and the mistakes are not egregious.

I have been coming to see Marianne since she was at the Brea location years ago. I had very, very long hair and she always listened to me that I did not want it cut too short… then came the time to go for it. She knows my hair by now so I expected to love it anyway, but wow! It is now (after a couple of years) just below my shoulders and wavy. She cuts it with scissors and does not razor cut or use thinning shears because we both know how frizzy it gets. I have since taken all my daughters’ to her and even though they all have very different types of hair, she does a fabulous job. She is always courteous and kind and funny. We will follow her and the other stylists here around town if they choose to leave. I hope they don’t because NOW I have to consider color! Yikes. I know Marianne will get it right, or send me to someone who can! Thank you Supercuts!

Last time I came here I waiting 55 minutes as 4 others walked in after me and were helped first. When I finally got seated I was informed they have call ahead service.
The next time I called ahead. Marianne told me she would be right with me when I walked in. I had the immediate impression that her mind was not on work. I gave her my name and told her I called ahead.
After taking money from someone she promptly went to the back and started goofing around with another employee. The other employee threw a comb at her and they laughed. Meanwhile another walks in and a male employee gets his name.
The girl who threw the comb comes out, calls his name and I am once again left waiting. Marianne comes out and tells her I was first, but they decide I should still wait. I ask for the manager and sadly learn that Marianne is the manager.
I left and got on Unilocal only to find out Marianne has other negative reviews. Come on Supercuts, you can do better than this.
Not wanting to leave another bad review for Marianne, I call her. I told her of my intentions to right a bad review but wanted to give her a chance to fix the problem. She insisted it was just an accident and took no responsibility and offered no resolution. Horrible manager!
In the end I guess I have to thank Marianne. After being a Supercuts customer for 27 years, Marianne finally got me to go somewhere else. I went to Sportsclips on Brea and Bastanchury. For $ 2 more I got a haircut, shampoo, warm towel on my face, scalp massage, massage chair, large screen TVs, and a neck massage!
Goodbye Supercuts! Hello Sportsclips! Thank you Marianne (heavy snarkiness)!

People quit this location frequently. I have had more than one person I liked cut my hair that suddenly left. The problem is that Supercuts will not give you the person’s last name or where they transferred too. Unacceptable. Also the manager is fairly unfriendly.

I have came in here numerous times. My first time I met Sara P. we hit it off. She was the kind of person I needed to get my color and cut done. She was very professional, hands on, and had a great level of expertise that I will continue to go to her. She was a nice and friendly person to welcome me into Supercuts. She has magical hands because when she trimmed my hair, it was given new life. I’m very particular of who touches my hair. But by far I’m am a very happy customer and I will be returning to Supercuts as long as Sara P. is here. I would also like to add that she made my day with the small talk we had. She was funny and I appreciate her level of customer service. She informed me of the proper products to add to my dried out hair. Thanks again SUPERCUTS!!! And that’s for making me feel beautiful Sara P!!!

Staff is always very friendly! I have always been just a walk in, and the most I have ever waited is 10 min. Place is clean.

Worst experience ever! I have not had time to get into my normal hair stylist and figured I would try here since it is close to my house. WOW! I should have just held out for my own stylist. I had Sarah (not sure if there is an «h» at the end) cut my hair. She was completely rude! She even argued with me when I asked her to cut my hair first with the scissors and then razor the ends instead of cutting the whole thing with the razor. She said, «Why? It will look the same in the end?» I said, «I’m sorry, but that is just how I prefer to have it cut.» She continued to argue with me to the point that I had to say, «I’m not here to argue with you, if you do not want to cut my hair — I can go somewhere else!» Of course that wasn’t enough and she had to get in the last word, so she said, «I’m just telling you that in my X number of years, it will end up looking the same.» Most awkward experience ever. Look!!! I don’t care if it will look the same or not. It was a simple request and I don’t feel like I need to argue or justify what I am asking for when I am paying you to cut my hair. I will NEVER come back here and I recommend anyone that does go there — DO NOT USE SARAH unless you want to end up having your wonderful day ruined by a stylist who is rude, condescending and doesn’t even want to be there in the first place.

I enjoy coming here. Sarah Bloom knows my peanut head and how to get the professional/​office look I usually get. Price is a bit higher than the market price of a men’s haircut but once you find someone who does a good job it’s always worth it.

I went to this place and the lady kept asking me if I dyed my hair (everywhere else I’ve been the people can tell it’s sun and not bleach), and if that had been once it would have been ok, but she kept asking again and again. I was just getting a trim but there was this really obvious long piece of hair that she didn’t get that I had to fix myself when I got home. Lame.

My stylist was Sarah Blume and she was wonderful! I called ahead because I ended up coming in 15 minutes before closing and she told me not to worry. I have a hard time explaining my haircut and I forgot to bring a photo, but Sarah was very patient and spent a good amount of time consulting with me before she set to cutting it. She chatted with me the whole time making me feel super comfortable and offered advice on what products to use on my hair and what to do with my crazy coloring. The pricing was incredibly fair. I only ended up paying 16 dollars for an amazing cut. I tipped as well as I could (being a broke college student). I am definitely going back here. This is honestly probably the best haircutting experience I’ve had so far. I’m trying not to sound like a cheeseball or like I was paid to write it, but I’m just very very happy with my hair. :3

Elizabeth left Supercuts so I will no longer be going there. Unfortunately I had a coloring job that was mediocre when Elizabeth didn’t do it.

Friendly staff and not a terrible wait with a call in. I was paired with Marianne. Very polite and listened to my requests. It’s hard describing in plainspeak what it is you want but she followed me and delivered a top-​notch cut. Standard chit-​chat was not overbearing and just enough to make you comfortable. The prices in the most recent picture here are not up to date as a standard cut is $ 16 now. I normally go to standard old-​school barbers but wanted a little texture and style to my dome. Still a very clean looking cut with some added depth. I most definitely recommend Marianne for you guys who may be getting bored with the old-​school razor lines.

I have been to this supercuts many times and always ask for Sarah. She does a great job because she always listens to what I want. Every time I leave there my hair looks great and people always ask «where did you get your haircut?» little do they know it’s at Supercuts :)

If you want a cut which looks like you did NOT get a haircut at all — go here! It’s awful — the stylist — if I can call her that, did nothing… she seemed to be snipping away for about 15 minutes and at the end she said she was done. Huh. its looks the same as before you started cutting? I had to literally keep encouraging her to cut more by pointing to various areas —cut you trim the bangs please… could you make this look like a layer cut? NO ! She does not cut… so now $ 18 later my hair looks exactly like it was when i went in! Gee thanks… you suck!
Next time want a PRETEND haircut, I’ll come to you!!!

Since i have thick, coarse hair i usually go to those über chic upscale salons and pay about $ 60 for a hair cut… but since i have found out i am going to Europe in a few months i have refused to pay that much for a hair cut… i was brave and went to this place. no appt needed just show up… i got my hair cut by ELIZABETH she was soo nice and friendly and my hair and bangs looked EXCELLENT! all for $ 16 (+tip) what a great deal!!!
