This place is a hidden gem!!! I was craving Korean bbq but didn’t want to wait two hours for it. My boyfriend and I discovered this place and ordered two rounds of the bulgogi meat. It was beyond amazing! The meat was tender and flavorful. And they give you a lot for only $ 12.99. It also comes with a free side of rice plus you get a free dessert at the end. The service was quick and our server was so nice and friendly. I love finding hole in the wall places!!! I will definitely be coming back to quench my Korean bbq craving.

This place had good naengmyun. I ordered it off menu. Ask if they have a certain item if you don’t see it on the menu, and they probably do.

I came here with my husband for dinner the other night. We’re always looking for good Korean food. At first we thought it was just the simple soups you can get anywhere but they actually have a good selection of items. We had the bosam(kimchi wrapped with pork) and the galbi tang(beef soup). The food was so yummy! It’s hard to find a place with good bosam and this place is pretty darn good! I definitely give this place 5 stars but giving it 4 because they don’t have beer… an iced cold Hite beer would have been perfect with the bosam!

Solid 4.5 stars. Been here several more times since my first review and each time has been consistently good. The restaurant never gets crowded when dining in, and when I call in an order to-go, it’s always ready in a timely manner. Tonight I got the ginseng chicken soup to-go. It comes with a small whole chicken that is stuffed with rice. I wasn’t feeling good, and it hit the spot. It came with a few side dishes like really dark green kimchi, spicy radish, pickled cabbage, and fish cake. Kimchi and soups are not too garlicky, which I like. Wish they had more menu items! Glad they are close to the house. I will continue to come here for the soups.

Stopped by last weekend with my son. The food was good, fresh, abundant and decently-priced. I had the grilled mackerel and kimchi stew combo. The mains were very good and the side dishes were very flavorful. Very homey. I’d definitely come back.

Very tasty! This Korean restaurant is hidden away in a corner, but in my opinion it blows away all the nearby competition, including Yedang(which is, in my opinion, a little overpriced and not that great). Prices are typical for a Korean place but the serving sizes are on the more generous side, and the food tastes great! Awesome place to hit up for some traditional Korean grub.

Been here at least 3 times since it opened. It’s so close to my house that no matter what the previous reviews said I still come to this place. The food is good. Did not have a bad experience at all. Had bosam which was good. Had galbitang but u cannot beat hanyangs galbitang tang that place is legendary. Nonetheless they do give u a lot of meat so it balances out for me. 2nd day I had gamjatang which was not bad either. A lot of meat again. My friend said the solong tang also had a lot of meat. So much he wished it didn’t have that much and instead wished it had better quality less quantity. But that’s preference. He still came back with me to try a new dish. Today I’m trying manduguk and is bomb. I hope this place stays like this. Definitely recommend to everyone. Btw the shikhae at the end is so bomb!

Sorry for this newly opened restaurant but this place deserves not even one star to be honest. Okay. I usually don’t like to write reviews to complain but this place sells soap smelled food and pretends like they don’t know anything. We ordered kalbi soup, fish soup, and cold noodle soup. Two of our entrée came out with bowl of rice. The moment my uncle tasted the rice, he said he smells really strong soap/cosmetic scent from the rice. And my aunt tried it, too but she was smelling the same scent so we asked for another bowl of rice but it was the same. About ten minutes later they brought us another bowl of rice claiming that it was freshly cooked. But it was the same soap scent that we tasted from the other bowl of rice. Since we can’t eat our rice with the soup we ordered, we ordered another entrée. And the total came out to be $ 45. We asked for a discount or exclude the price for the rice since we didn’t eat any but they rejected and said no. We were a little frustrated by then but didn’t want to make any scene plus we knew that it wasn’t the server’s fault so we just paid anyways. And right after we got our changes, the lady who was sitting at the table right next to ours(close enough to hear everything and probably knew what was going on) told us that it was probably the soap that one of the staff used to clean the pot that they use to cook rice. The lady who told us this turned out to be the owner of the restaurant and she knew from the beginning why it was tasting like soap. I don’t understand why she didn’t tell us this beforehand but she waited until the check has been paid ANDTHEN tell us that it was the soap that made it taste like that? It is just RIDICULOUS and so awful the way they treated us. I am never going back to this restaurant and I recommend not to go there if you don’t want to be treated the way my family and I were treated.

The food here is good, but this review is specifically for their frozen dumplings. We took home a bag of frozen dumplings from here and they are so incredibly good. They are plump and flavorful and beat any frozen dumplings you can find in the store. The flavor is spot on, really rich and not too salty or bland. The taste is unique because it’s almost buttery(something about it is a bit different than other dumplings I’ve had, but I can’t put my finger on it). Only downside is that they aren’t cheap, but they are handmade and you don’t get much of the fillers you find in the store bought varieties. Would very much recommend!

Opened as of 8÷4÷15, which is today. They serve not only sulungtang but other variety of dishes. All there side dishes are home made. The food here is amazing and delicious. It is worth coming here. It is a must to come here!
