Do not recommend. See bruises on back in photo. Three days after appointment just starting to fade.

Jan has provided massage treatments for me for the past few months. I have sciatica and lower back pain. My discomfort was relieved by Jan’s treatment. I found her friendly, approachable, will to explain the treatments. She has recently been treating me for numbness and tingling in my arms and hands and neck and shoulder discomfort. Both of those symptoms are being relieved. I would recommend Jan to anyone. I appreciate all she has done to reclaim my health. Thank you, Don

I just had a 90 minute massage with Jan. I told her it was definitely the best massage I have ever had. Her skills were awesome, and she was genuine and professional. The massage room was clean and had relaxing ambience. I highly recommend her. I will definitely return.

I have been going to Jan for several years, at least a couple of hundred times. I think I started before the doctor who owns the office even started the remodel, and that seemed to take about a decade! I have been to a handful of massage therapists over the years, and to physical therapy more places than I can count. I play hard and have had some repairs done; well, a lot of repairs(like, count on my fingers, my toes, and another hand). And even some parts outright replaced. Needless to say, I have some aches and pains. Jan is a vital part of my management of my aches and pains. No kidding — sh*t would be a whole lot worse without her! Heck, sometimes I go in and discover that I am sore somewhere I wasn’t even aware of. Jan is, simply, THEBEST at what she does. She is super strong, very knowledgeable about physiology and general holistic body awareness, wise(she could be a mental health therapist), and is generally a super cool person. I reckon as I have been seeing her for so long she has me pretty well pegged and I can(and do) talk with her about anything, and she is never judgmental and always constructive. She is good energy, good karma, good people. I have to add that she is funny as heck, but maybe that takes going to her for a while for the laughs to be common. All the good stuff is there for a great massage experience: Music(which I am sure she would change or turn off if that is what you might prefer), a very comfortable and calming room, flannel sheets, scented oils, and various types of therapies that I have never availed myself of. I pretty much go in to have her untie the knots that give myself. In another review of her business on another site a few years ago I wrote that her business should be called«Sacred Soul» rather than Sacred Hands. I’ll say it again

Contacted Jan for a Saturday appt. she was great over phone and likewise in person. The place is small, inviting and clean. I asked for medium pressure and it was perfect! I can tell that she has strong hands, I mean, she could definitely do deep tissue. She really got into my muscles, it felt so good. Afterwards I was literally nodding away for the rest of the day, that’s how relaxed I felt. Her prices are VERY fair. I got 90 minutes for $ 85. I can see myself going back soon. If you’re looking for a therapist in Fullerton, go see Jan. she will leave you feeling relaxed. Thanks Jan!

Had hurt my back and, after recommendation from my chiropractor, went to Sacred Hands. I was nervous about seeing a masseuse. Jan was professional and her treatment was far more effective and permanent than drugs.

You know what, I’m going to give her 5 stars. I REALLY like her for the following reasons: — An ACTUAL therapist! I’ve been to many masseuses in my life, and I would say 90% of them don’t know what they’re doing. They’re just going through the motions and getting your knots out, which is quite nice, but I don’t know if they really know the mechanics of the body and muscle. It’s kind of nice to go to a ‘certified massage therapist.’ I told her what’s been bothering me(i.e. sprained muscle) and she knew exactly what to do. I had shin splints, I came to her, and it felt better within that same day. I read that I was supposed to get warmed up in a sauna before a sports massage to relax the muscles. I didn’t get to of course, but noticed that she worked hard to rub her hands together and warm them up before applying them specifically to areas of my shins. I was very impressed that everything I researched about, she already knew and applied it(unlike other masseuses). Her technique was great. She also offers a variety of massages like the lymphatic drainage which you can’t find at your typical massage parlor. Finally, I also like how on her Facebook she talks a lot about wellness and stretches. Honestly, massages for me just aren’t really just about relaxation, but getting down to supporting my ‘wellness’ — healthy eating, yoga, stretches, and massages so I can play better sports. Because I work out a lot, I can get issues with my body if a massage is performed incorrectly, it can actually exacerbate the problem. — Very professional. She was friendly in starting conversation, and appropriately ended it when the massage began. — DEEEPMASSAGESSS… Oh man… she has some strong hands, which I LOVE. Sometimes it hurts a little, but I love it. She is really good. I read someone that complained about her firm hands… He may be more suited for like Burke Williams or something. But she is DABOMB. In Asian culture, customers will COMPLAIN if you don’t bruise them up. Just to clarify, Jan DOESNOT bruise you up. But she gives great firm massages. I mean, you pay to get your muscles massaged not just touched. The worst feeling I’ve ever had was going to a masseuse and feeling like they barely just touched me. If you are looking for something gentler, then I would probably recommend the lymphatic drainage. I was so relaxed, I knocked out. You should call and ask for more information about it. — Text message reservations. I don’t know ANY place. and I mean ANY place that will take reservations via text message. I absolutely love that about her. Sometimes, I’m having a stressful day at work and I just need a massage later that day or week, but I don’t want to be calling during work hours in front of my co-workers. Plus, I know that being a solo masseuse, she’s probably with a client at times. So I love that she can text me back too and let me know of any openings and to see my availability. It’s awesome. — Her clients seemed to love her. The first time I came, I saw another client give her a hug before she left. Like a very long and thankful type of hug while saying«Thank you SOO much… Can I come in again this weekend?» — Fair prices. For her know-how, I feel like the prices she charges are not very expensive, nor are they ridiculously cheap. Very fair, in my opinion for the type of service you’re getting. All in all, she is the only place I would pay full price for a massage. Other places I need to have a discount before I’m willing to go. The ONLY caveat I do have is… the décor of her massage room may not be pleasing to everyone. It does have a more old school feel, which I don’t mind. I actually feel safe and comfortable, but I can imagine some people complaining if they’re expecting a more new-age«Zen» type of décor. I’ve never been impressed by that. Also, your eyes are closed! How much could you really care! The music, lighting have been great in lulling me to sleep. Good luck, I encourage you all to give her a try if you are looking for real, good massages from a professional. P. S. Regardless of what the previous reviewer says, she takes credit cards now. She has the smartphone square thing.

Jan is a very good massage therapist who asked me lots of questions before we got started. She really knows her stuff. I opted for a Swedish massage as opposed to deep tissue, as this is what I felt my body needed today. Her movements were gentle, long, and had a very comfortable rhythm which helped me breathe. The room was really nice –I’m not sure what the other two reviewers are talking about, except that their reviews are many years old. A sturdy table, natural but soft light, mexican tile floors throughout the building, with a nice, big carpet. She plays very relaxing music as well. I wasn’t cold at all! She shares an office with a chiropractor –so do use her own entrance which is the small door off the parking lot. Her pricing is very reasonable, which given her expertise is terrific. She’s an independent practitioner, so do bring cash.

Jan is very professional and has strong hands. If you have a problem area and let her know about it, she will work it out. I have used Sacred Hands for over 4 years. I had back surgery 10 years ago and went through several massage therapists before I found Jan. I would recommend Jan to anyone looking for a good, professional and reliable massage therapist.

Firm hands but SHEESH… Take it easy on my back! I went to this place a couple of months ago. I thought she did a pretty good job overall. My main problem that day was that the muscles right below my shoulder blades were really sore. I even though I asked her to be a little gentle in that area she really pressed down hard even after asking her to lighten up a little a few times. Other than that, the massage was pretty good. Also, this place doesn’t take credit cards so be prepared with either cash or check. The room in which you get a massage isn’t the most comfortable room for a massage. I wish they had a better location;

I’ve been going to Jan for a number of years and she is professional, kind most of all skilled! I suggest her services often and will continue to do so!

Jan is very good. She has strong hands, is knowledgeable, accommodating, and ‘listens to your body’. I’ve only been to one other massage therapist in Fullerton, and I prefer Jan of Sacred Hands. Pros: good massage for the money, convenient, nice personality. Cons: the room wasn’t entirely relaxing — a bit cold, strange music, industrial carpet, somewhat unstable massage table.
