Went here for breakfast one Sunday and it was packed but didn’t have to wait too long. Had the waffle combo($ 10) and includes hash browns and eggs. The waffles were delicious. The service was great.

I got the meat and eggs and potatoes plate. I thought it was good, the meat could have been warmed up more. I felt like the ham was room temp. The cinnamon roll was good. The service here was sub par but it’s a good place to get good ol American breakfast. I’ll have to actually try the pies here.

I have been eating at this location for over 40 years! Oh my! The tuna sandwich is still amazing and the baked beans are the same — delicious. Don’t let the location deter you from eating here. The food is goid, portions are generous, and our waitress was very attentive. Please drop by and enjoy one of their daily specials or the old favorites like tuna or quiche.

I am sitting here mad at my stomach for not being able to eat more of their delicious delicacies! Let’s start this off with the service, friendly and prompt. I ordered their California eggs benedict and it came with a pumpkin muffin(you can also order a delicious Cinnabon), country potatoes, and the California benedict cannot be considered California without its avocado! The flavors brought happiness to the meal. I came with my family and they’re completely satisfied with their overall experience here.

Great inexpensive place to go for breakfast went on sunday, was a bit busy, had to wait about 20mins for seats A couple of us had the spinach scramble, which was basically scrambled eggs with spinach, sausage and cheese mixed in. It was pretty good, had it with hash browns I usually get their HUGE cinnamon roll to take home with me as my bakery item friend had ABC omelet, which is an avocado, bacon, and cheese omelet. he said it was good as well, with home fried potatoes only knock on place is that since it was really busy, we didn’t get coffee refills as promptly as normal… oh well, can’t have it all be sure to check out their overstock section by cashier scored 4 buttermilk biscuits and a bran muffin package for 2.50!

This was a pleasant experience at Polly’s for me. The restaurant was obviously understaffed but our waitress, Holly, still took wonderful care of us, although she seemed a bit flustered. The food was delicious and everyone was friendly.

All I ask for when I go to a restaurant is service, hot food and a Manager to follow up if their is a problem. What I got was being seated and no waitress for 10 minutes. Then my breakfast arrived at the same time as my coffee. And, you guessed it, the breakfast was cold. Could not find my waitress so had to bother another waitress to have my order re-made. The second order was cold. Of course, by now I am starving and had to eat it. No Manager follow up on the food return.

I’ve been here for breakfast three times. The food is okay. The cinnamon rolls are the size of your head and terrific. Service has never been anything other than friendly and mostly prompt. Overall, this is a decent place to eat. I’m only giving three stars however, because this place isn’t very clean. The restaurant is in a shabby strip mall and looks ancient on the inside. The counters and tables look like they only get wiped with a damp cloth instead of actually washed. The last time I was there, my coffee was served in a cup with lipstick still on it and my fork was covered in dried up food bits. There were also ants on the windowsill. If they don’t bother cleaning the things the customers will see, I wonder what their kitchen looks like?

Stopped in today for lunch. Glad I did! Polly’s burger was 5 stars. One of the best burgers I have had. Friday’s also is home made clam chowder day, and that is for sure worth getting. All and all a great experience from food to the service. Highly recommend this place.

Didn’t know you could still order the potato pancake with a dollop of whip cream instead of hash browns or home style. Potato pancake, my favorite

If i had a negative star option i would choose it. Jose torres is the worst manager in the history of managers. never have i been treated with disrespect! I came in last week and had an order to go and was overcharge on items that i wanted and never got the items. I didnt notice until i got home… i called pollys and the lady said dont worry next meal is on us and i was like okay cool thank you. Today i tried to go in and honor the meal and apparently my name wasnt on the list and they passed me to a manger and the manager insinuated that i was lying and would not honor it. Then i was trying to explain the situation he just wouldnt help and i was getting upset and he couldnt speak with me with respect and then he hung up on me .i proceeded to calll him back and yelled at him for his rudeness and for the rudeness of the fact that they would overcharge me and not honor the meal. He claimed i wamted the full mean back($ 52) worth but i didnt i juat wanted what was owed the 10 but he wouldnt helped. Yes i was emptional and yelling but im pregnant and i told him that but he kept being rude and threaten to hang up a second time. A manager who cant be a manager .hmmm ya i wouldnt trust him to run a store!

Usually I go to the Polly’s Pie in Orange whenever I’m craving anything pot-pie-related(and now, I will continue to only go to that particular location). However, last night I ordered the«Famous ‘Handmade’ Chicken Pie» online from this Fullerton location, and I hate to say it, but I believe this is one of the worse meals I’ve ever had. I noticed the employee who handed me my order when I picked it up didn’t include any disposable cutlery or anything along with the meal, but I was headed back to a friend’s house and figured I could use his forks and knives instead — no big deal. The dinner comes with the chicken pot pie(shaped like a traditional pie) and two sides. I ordered the steamed vegetables, mashed sweet potatoes with chicken gravy and another dish of green beans as my sides. As I opened each togo container, I became more and more dismayed by the food I was served(and paid good money for. $ 11.43 to be exact): — The green beans were severely overcooked and had a grayish green appearance and obvious sogginess. — The mashed sweet potatoes with gravy didn’t have that potatoey-consistency any longer but instead looked like puréed baby food. — The steam vegetables(broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, etc.) looked dry like they had been purposefully dehydrated. — Lastly, the pie had a flexible and almost rubbery as opposed to flaky crust, and its fillings were dry, chewy and utterly unpleasant. I took one bite from each dish and promptly closed each lid after. Everything tasted… Sour. Like someone had poured a bit of Apple cider vinegar in the preparation of each dish. In addition, everything was soggy and looked/tasted like it came out of a can. 45 minutes after I picked up my order, I was back at the same counter to return the barely touched food and to ask for a refund. I asked for a manager(who happened to be the same woman who gave me my originally when I picked it up and who also forgot to include the disposable forks/knives) and told her how the meal was«just bad.» I didn’t want to argue at the counter to justify why I wanted a refund, and I didn’t need to. She promptly refunded me by cash. I’m hoping someone from Polly’s Pie executive management reads this post and addresses the poor food quality at this particular Polly’s Pie. I don’t want to speak negatively about their food or service, but honestly, the meal I received last night was inedible. I go out of my way to dine at the one in Orange even though this one in Fullerton is closer to me, and it looks like I’ll always continue to do so.

Came here on pi day for pie but loved the cinnamon rolls instead! We took home a Banberry pie which is vanilla pudding on a pie crust topped off with fresh bananas and strawberries. The pie was good but I guess I’m just not a big fan of pudding. However, I also bought two huge cinnamon rolls, cut each into four pieces for serving and was surprised at how good they were. They weren’t overly gooey like cinnabon nor dry… just perfect. Highly recommend you try them if you’re thinking about it!

I actually really like this homestyle restaurant! It is a better alternative to Carrows, Denny’s, iHOP. The food is very tasty! their signature pie is amazing! Prices are moderate, but portions are just enough. Their Banana, macadamia nut pancakes are ta-die for!!! DELICIOUS! I’ve also tried their signature chili, and tuna melt, both delicious. Cons: –Their online to go menu does not contain half the things they have on their dine-in menu, and from the cashier told me, they also contain half of the things they no longer serve. –Their entire online ordering process is outdated it seems like. B/c on a single occasion, I placed an online order, the girl accidentally gave my order to another girl that had a already left, luckily the girl checked her order before leaving the parking lot and came back so that we could swap orders. INADDITION to that mix-up, the server forgot to give me my polly’s signature lemonade, which was almost $ 4. And because of the already hectic situation, I also forgot I had ordered it, by this time I was already at work, so I called and was placed on HOLD for 15 mins, hung up and called right back, the girl says hold please, I said NO! I was already on hold for over 10 mins and I have a complaint. she pretended to listen, an agreement was made for me to come back when I got off work to pick it up. 5:30pm rolls around, and I completely forgot about it, I called again, the manager«Lisa» picks up, and I just told her I would like a refund instead, since I have no use for the drink anymore. She told me their online ordering system is complicated and it would be better for me to come in and redeem the drink on my next visit. Lisa was very friendly, so I agreed since I knew I would be back in the future. However, I don’t like the fact that she couldn’t just refund my card. Overall, I enjoy the food but avoid their online ordering if possible. I think its best to call in your order.
