My Barber Shop

At first My started cutting my hair perfectly how I wanted. now after 2 years of her service, it seems to me that she’s slacking off a little bit too much.
I got a 0 taper and out of nowhere she cuts the upper side of my head with a size 2! JUST ON ONE SIDE OF MY HEAD?! going back and making her fix it after I post this

The only place I ever paid less than $ 10 for a clean fade was at Ft Benning until I visited this place. $ 8 for a clean fade. Typically no wait and fast service. Perfect for those who cut their hair on a monthly or bi monthly basis with a buzzer.

Solid haircut, enjoy the look a lot for a super reasonable 8 dollars! Minor negatives are the long wait, lack of a sign in list to keep track of «who is next», and my haircutter being a bit rougher than i am used to. I feel they speak english well enough to communicate haircut desires, so that is a non-​issue. I will return and would have no issue with going back to the same gentleman.

Although I don’t speak Vietnamese, I can get across what I want with simple directions in English and hand gestures and that is all that seems to be needed by the talented staff. Reading the other reviews and being on the other side of the room where the woman barber was cutting the hair of a little girl, the woman spoke English well enough. I had two gentleman work their magic so far and they both did a great job of cutting my hair with the #4 clipper head and then finishing off with scissors to get those pesky hairs that stand up without any strong wind or electricity nearby. The first time took about half an hour and I thought my haircut was great. No small talk, just the facts, man. The second time it took about fifteen minutes to cut my hair and it also looked great although it could have been cut a little bit more from the top front but that’s okay. All in all, a great place for my simple fade haircuts and can’t complain about the $ 8 price either! My (pronounced «Me») Barber Shop is awesome!

I fortunately had My cut my hair (I got lucky). For $ 8 (I paid $ 10 because I like to tip my barbers), this is a great bargain.

I got a tip on this place from the waiter working at a Korean restaurant and he had a nice cut too.

Overall a great place to get a standard haircut!
They don’t speak much English, so it’s not the place to come in for a good conversation. The first time I came here, I don’t think the barber understood what I wanted. He cut my hair wrong! But the cool thing was that it came out good. It wasn’t quite what I wanted, but damn, it looked good. He gave me happy.

My friend recommended this place and said to make sure I get my hair cut by My only. But when I got there, My was not there so I just decided to get my haircut by some other man that was there.
RAGRETS. SO MANY RAGRETS.
This guy could not speak a lick of English and that was not even the worst part! He would CONSTANTLY burp throughout the haircut (15 minutes) and I was getting kind of ticked off. Haircut was definitely not one of the best I have had. My hair was uneven in many places and especially my sideburns.

Been meaning to write a review for one of my favorite places: I’ve been coming to my and her family for over 4 yrs know, and every time she does a very good job cutting me and my son’s hair, plus my wife has her hair done by the lady that sits in the back (I wish I knew her name) but unfortunately I don’t…sorry lady in the back!:-) Anyways, to sum it up we all leave «My Barber Shop» looking and feeling like a million bucks!!! Thanks

This place serves it’s purpose well. Affordable haircuts done right. If you want to overpay, so be it. Less wait time for the next guy. They will trim or even shave off your beard, for only $ 5. I think if you want something more than the average trim, it’s like $ 1-​$ 2 more. The younger of the 2 ladies, My, is the best out of the staff. But the older guy isn’t bad at all. They also sell bottled beverages. Couches are comfortable in waiting area.

I wouldn’t recommend this place… unless the cash is tight. VERY tight. Like post prom tight. As advertised the place does give $ 7 men’s cuts, but you get what you pay for as you should know by now.
I wouldn’t even call this a barbershop but here’s how the place compares to one:
No hot shave. (I didn’t expect this from a $ 7 cut anyways.)
No english. It may very well be a Vietnamese family business. (I asked my barber how long the place has been around and he pointed to my hair gesturing the length to cut. Really confusing.)
Below average haircuts. (I showed my barber a picture of a beautiful Nazi hairstyle I wanted and got unpleasant results. Uneven top and a messy fade. Perhaps he was Jewish.)
The lady, who is probably his wife, might be a better haircutter, and I believe she is a tad bit better at english. Still no hot shave. This place is also walk-​in only. I won’t be coming back here though, even for the low price. I’ll be sticking to my usual $ 20 barber cuts now.

You can’t beat a $ 7 hair cut. They are very precise and careful, I asked for a 2 on the side and a 5 on top and he took a good 20 minutes to make sure everything was perfect.
No nonsense, no awkward small talk. I highly recommend it.

My is the best. Only ever see her. I have seen her for over 2 years. I have moved out of the area and still will drive to see her. Worth the wait. She never rushes your haircut. You will wait 30 – 45 min, but you will love her results. Guys tip her well. $ 7.00 haircut. I always tip a min of $ 13.00.

Once My cuts your hair you won’t let anyone else! She does a great job for a great price. Yeah, you might have to wait a while but it’s well worth it. For all those people who are in a hurry to go nowhere, bring a good book. Wish I had found out about her years ago!

My is great with men’s haircuts; it’s the only place my boyfriend trusts to get his hair cut and really, that says a lot.
It is always busy here so come early, its all based on walk in; first come first serve! But no fear, they have many magazines so rest assured you won’t run out of things to read!
