La Buena Market

Seriously I’ve lived in Fullerton over 25 years and somehow I missed this gem. We are having a potluck for cinco de mayo and our awesome bosses said if I could find a good place for asada they would chip in some money… after getting a few quotes from Northgate, Super, Ranch Market, and few other carnicerias I called Ramon at La Buena… he quoted me at 5.99 WAAYYYY cheaper than all the others. I was skeptical and went in to see if could get a piece to bring back and share with the crew… he cooked one for me and gave me the other raw… OMG my coworkers went NUTS! They all loved it and now we can’t wait for the potluck. 15 pounds of meat and a whole heck of a lot of food. The place is clean small and AWESOME. Ramon is the butcher and was super nice and professional. Can’t wait to go back for some of his tacos cause they looked YUMMO!!! Thanks again for making our celebration awesome!

I love coming to La Buena Market. It’s my local neighborhood market 2 min walking distance my condo. Market has everything you need from from fresh meet and taqueria to Mexican spices and herbs. It’s literally a little mini grocery store. For example, my sister really wanted to make guacamole and we ran out of avocados: I told my sister no biggie I’ll walk down the market and bam problem solved lol. Love how convenient this spot is; I’m here at least 3 – 4 times a week sometimes just to grab a drink or maybe some smokes and snacks of course I have a crazy sweet tooth.
I love have they have a LEGIT Vape section from crafted e-​juice to authentic mods.. The new manager definitely stepped the market up and has Great customer service. Whenever I want a certain e-​juice he doesn’t have at this market he brings it for me from his other Vape shop for me ⁵⁄₅ and always has the BEST prices on his Vape products and love the customer service. It’s a family owned shop ran by the father and his son which is also a cool guy. ⁵⁄₅ for convenience (for me especially), quality, service and consistency.

Please update. This place has no wine. Cheap beer only. And smokes. Just your normal corner market.

I live behind this place and LOVE IT! It’s so convenient for my girlfriend and I. They have all the goodies a little grocery store should have and the guys that run the place are really nice. I haven’t had the food yet but ill definitely update my review when i do!

best food i ever had plus they have live bands at times! they will be having a live the 5 star trio this october 24^th from 11am to 1pm. i will be there with a ice cold beer and a plate of tacos!!!

The service was great and the food was better. had carnitas tacos and my wife had an asana quesadilla. They were fresh on the spot we will definitely be back en route to downtown Fullerton

Everything you need from a local market. Tacos are good and The owner is also very personable.

This is a neighborhood market which also has food. I haven’t had an opportunity to try the food yet but the ambiance in this market is nice. The first time I came in — one of the owners introduced himself and told me about the store. The owner tries to make sure that beers and products that appeal to the neighborhood are in his store. The owner is personable and knows everyone by name and makes you feel very welcome as does the whole staff at the store. It has a small biz feel to it.
The products are reasonable priced. You can always stop by here for snacks. If you haven’t had a chance to check out this gem — you should. You will be glad you stopped by.

This is my local market i live literally across the alley. Whenever i have a need i come here for it … Itts very seldom that the handsome owner doesnt have what im looking for and if so all i have to do is ask and he delivers. he is soo friendly he knows everyones name literally ur mom ur cousin ur cousins little sisters friend. i come in here for comedy to this guy gots all the jokes … as for good service and well rounded caring character i come here. i refuse to go to the other 4 liquor stores that r right near me… thank you bossman keep up the goodwork homeslice ;)

Hidden gem. Local store 20 plus years in business. Adds character to neighborhood where everyone knows your name. Wish I had this for my neighborhood

This is a wonderful hole-​in-​the-​wall authentic Mexican grill and market. The food is delicious. The portion size is more than generous. The people are very friendly and accommodating. This is truly a gem. We loved it.

Way better than Albertacos. The meat is fresh, tastefully marinated and the customer service was so welcoming!

I really love La Buena! They have everything you need in a convenience store and it’s right in the neighborhood! And the best part is they have a tastey kitchen with great Mexican food!

This place is seriously the coolest market I’ve ever been to! The tacos are cheap and they hook it up!
I go here pretty much weekly for drinks, snacks, and even meals sometimes. I’ve even been offered hookah sessions.

Went in to pick up a wine glass to use for a scene we were shooting. We were trying to film a shattering glass but ended up filming a bouncing wine glass. Apparently we underestimated the quality la Buena provides

This place is great! I live in the Soco Walk so there is not a close store near by. When I walked in I was surprised by the cleanliness and how friendly everyone was. Raeed the owner is really nice and helpful. This is a small business that i am happy to spend my money at! Highly recommend!

If you love hole in the wall places, then this is the café for you. Just a few blocks away from downtown Fullerton, this is my favorite place in OC for authentic Mexican food.
In addition to the amazing food, they are also a grocery store! Great for getting some snacks on the go as well.
Also, a pretty cool thing about them is that I can order food on their website, and then come in and they’ll have my food ready! :)

great selection of drinks, snacks and hot food. Produce can be hit or miss, but the owner is always friendly and welcoming!
