Terrible. Terrible, Terrible! Worst experience with a medical professional. And then overcharges you over and above insurance co-pays.

Sudden changes in billing that could not be explained by my insurance company. When I asked her office staff, I was told that my insurance company dictates the copay but that I had been misinformed and I was being charged the correct amount by her office. Her office manager/receptionist claimed to know more about insurance billing than Blue Cross. The increases in payment with no warning was even more frustrating when coupled with their lack of flexibility. You will be charged for anything and everything. I recently made an appointment for the following day but had to cancel. Clearly, you cannot give 24 hours notice when the appointment is to take place in less than 24 hours from the time it is scheduled. I was charged for the missed appointment and also told that if I did not pay the balance in full, I would be charged $ 25 a month for each month the balance was carried forward. The reason given for this lack of flexibility was that she has to pay her office staff. Ironically, her office staff is one of the biggest reasons why I will not continue to have anyone in my family see this therapist. While Dr. Jensen was nice enough, it’s not worth the hassle to deal with her office manager who is rude, condescending and very abrupt. If you happen to be divorced and need to choreograph things between two households, then avoid this practice at all costs.

I’ve been to this Dr. around 5 times for some issues that I was experiencing. The best response was, «Why do you think you did that?» She’s a good listener, but I felt like I wasted my time & might have utilized it better with someone else that would have been more helpful and offered better insight. That line was something I could do myself!
