No frills, no extras. An old school, honest American radiator shop. And the guy keeps lizards. Cool. No sofa, no flat screen, no bottled water, no muzak. Just good work.
Second time here, i brought my Hyundai in, had my estimate in 5 minutes, even offered me a ride home. New radiator delivered and installed in just about 3 hours. Picked it up the next morning only because I was too lazy to get back before closing. Hand written receipt and I was on my way. In their lot was also a fire truck and police cruiser being worked on, from different cities. So you know the work is reliable.

Knowledgeable, experienced mechanic able to work on cooling systems of all types of vehicles. I brought in my old F-​350 diesel and he had no problem with it, and charged a competetive price. Lots of other guys get scared when I show up with an old truck, but he handled it just fine. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Garys for several years. The work is solid and prices are very fair. On another note, the place is oddly interesting when you realize all the animals inside the shop. Don’t let it scare you, they are just a little eccentric. I would my car here again and always refer people here.

I went to Gary’s Radiator to repair the radiator on my Honda Accord. His quote was fair and lower than other auto shops.
I was very impressed to see two fire trucks in the lot and the huge radiator being repaired by the mechanic. I was impressed with the menagerie too (reptiles, parrot, cat, etc.).
The repair took a couple of days and am very pleased with their work. I will go back to repair the air conditioner before summer starts.

Place looked really trashy. Bunch of animal cages and not much work going on. I took my motorcycle radiator there to get repaired. It shouldn’t take long. I called 4 hours later to check the status. Said he wasn’t going to be able to look at it until later. Went back just after we hung up to pick up my radiator because I needed it back the same day, and they were all just sitting there starring at each other eating lunch and didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Soon after, a lady asked me what I wanted and I just said I was their to pick up my radiator. Place looked swamped with cars and I’m sure the service isn’t too bad, but I didn’t see any real motivation or pride in their work.
