Found a short hair in my chicken wrap & since I ate outside, he claims it was probably flying in the air. No compensation whatsoever. Horrible service!

I used to go to the Panera Bread next door to Fresh Kabobs quite a bit but I was getting bored with their choices. PLUS, their newer items aren’t that great! I gave Fresh Kabobs a try and I am in love with their cuisine! The only problem is, for the past three visits, they were out of the sauce used to make Chicken Tikka Masala! I ended up getting something that was equally delicious but a bit on the pricier side. I wish they made more of the Chicken Tikka Masala curry sauce so that I can have my favorite food whenever I visit! Oh, and next time they ask for mild, medium or spicy, I will inform them that I don’t want any spice at all. Their mild turned out to be scorching HOT! I couldn’t enjoy my last meal there because I was in tears with the heat! The scalding tongue I ended up with notwithstanding, the food is really delicious! I’ll always keep coming back!

I have been eating to all the fresh kabobs since they opened. I absolutely love the food and sauces. However, I am disappointed and pretty much disgusted with my visit to this fullerton location today. This place is filthy! The sauces are not stocked; there were dirty empty bottles in the greasy fridge. The restroom was absolutely disgusting. Even the containers that hold the silverware were dirty. Gross! And to top it off, they open at 11, we were there at 11:30, so they hadn’t even gotten their lunch rush yet! That place should’ve been stocked and spotless. Get it together Fullerton! I’ll only be visiting Long Beach location from now on.

I always get the Chicken Kabob Naan Roll! The naan is super fluffy and delicious. Slather your roll in all of the sauces(I really like the orange sauce, it has a little spicy kick!) and you’re all set!

Good food usually, depending on which cook you catch. That was the good. Here’s the bad: They shut down everything early. Tonight I was there at 8:30 and the young man there said, «Sorry but I closed everything down already». On the door their hours show they close at 9:00pm. Why would they stop accepting orders by 8:30pm already? He obviously started shutting everything down much earlier than 8:30pm if by that time everything was put away already. That’s just bad service, and considering there are three places to eat on every corner, I don’t see this place lasting if they don’t shape up.

Flavorful food with very good portion size. Got the 3 chicken platter and It was enough for 2 people after we orders somosa. I was happy that they have additional complimentary sauces that were delicious, especially the mint and the garlic sauce. The only complain is that the somosas were hot outside but got some frozen pieces in the inside.

I’m so glad to have found excellent Indian food in this area. I first heard about this restaurant on groupon. When I Unilocaled it, I decided to try it since it had pretty good reviews. Everything we ordered was delicious. I had planned on taking pictures to add to my review, but the food smelled so good that we dug right in before I could snap a few photos. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, tikka fries, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan, which are pretty much all the basic Indian dishes. Everything we ordered was so flavorful that I couldn’t stop thinking about the food after we were done eating. We are most definitely coming back for more. Also, staff was very warm and welcoming even though we came in right before closing time.

The food was okay kind of over priced. Unfortunate was not organic and the seasoning i felt was skimped on. I don’t believe I would be going to there anytime soon.

It’s not bad but I wouldn’t go there for kabobs and curry. The meat was good and cooked well but for being called Pakistani/Indian it did not have the amount of flavor and spices that I am used to. They have 3 sauces that have good flavor, I really only liked the green sauce, but I can see the other 2 being popular. I got the 3 way chicken and my husband got the beef kabobs. We both ordered spicy and it was not spicy, at all. It’s good quality but is light on the spices.

I’ve had many lunches from here and they have all been great. The staff is really good, I would highly recommend giving them a try… you’ll be hooked. Chicken Tikka Masala and Chana Saag are my favorite but sometimes I ask them to just surprise me and I haven’t been disappointed yet!

It was OK. The food was average and the guy who rang me up looked miserable to be there. He barely spoke a word so I didn’t bother to ask him for even a cup for water. He seemed to be the only one working. I miiight come back just because it’s so close to my work, but if the second time I go the food is so-so again, I probably would go elsewhere for lunch. I hear they don’t validate parking? There were some empty lots around the vicinity though for short term parking.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with this place. This past Monday, I came here with some of my high school friends for a mini reunion. I Unilocaled this place and choose it based on the great reviews and the Unilocal deal($ 12 for $ 20). I ordered the three chicken plate(I forgot the exact name). The taste was just ok, but I was mostly disappointed by how dry the meat was. The portions weren’t that big either. For $ 11 regular price, that seems quite expensive. My friends agreed that they would rate this place a 3. One got the tikka masala bowl; she said it didn’t have enough sauce. The other ordered the dinner special with a pita wrap and samosas; he said it was tasty but expensive for the portions. I wanted to like this place because of their variety but I don’t think I’d be back in a while.

A good choice for tasty, affordable Pakistani cuisine. For those unfamiliar with the bold, rich flavors of Pakistani food it is a wonderful fusion of dishes heavily influenced from Middle Eastern and South Asian countries — predominantly Indian and Afghanistan. Recommended: Grilled Salmon Platter — 6 oz of west coast wild caught salmon marinated with fresh herbs and traditional spices. $ 12.00 3 Way Chicken Kabobs — Three chicken tenders, individually marinated: traditional, herbs, and cream. $ 11.00 Beef Sirloin Kabob Platter — 8 oz of USDA Angus beef marinated with yogurt and spices and grilled to your liking. $ 13.00 Tandoori Salmon Bowl — 6 oz of west coast wild caught salmon marinated with fresh herbs and traditional spices. $ 9.00 10 Spice Basmati Rice — Imported long grain basmati rice seasoned with over 10 spiced and herbs. $ 3.00 All platters are served with a salad of romaine, spring mix, red onion, goat cheese and strawberries(seasonal), plus a side of sauteed peas(listed as vegetables) and potatoes over a bed of 10 spice basmati rice. The tandoori spiced bowls — served over 10 spice basmati rice, grilled tomato and sauteed potatoes and onions — are a better deal if you can do without the vegetables and want to save a few bucks. Highlights: The salmon and meats are fresh, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Even the basmati rice is infused with so much flavor. The chef created sauces — including garlic, spicy, mango and mint — add a rich array of flavors that enhances the taste of the already fantastic tasting meats and salmon and also works as a great dressing for the salad. From sweet to savory, I am fairly certain there will be at least a couple of sauces suitable for every individual’s palate. My favorites are the mint and mango. Needs Improvement: Garlic Naan — fresh baked traditional flat-bread topped with garlic, prepared to order on our special imported naan ovens. $ 2.00 The naan, always freshly made, comes nice and warm but falls a little flat(pun intended) on flavor. The salad is essentially just chopped spring Romaine lettuce with a few sliced strawberries if they are in season and, again, the vegetables portions are sauteed peas and potatoes. While I enjoyed everything on my plate, my opinion is that they seem more like an afterthought or garnish arrangement than a complimentary side. It would be nice to have a choice of more side options instead. This location is in a gated private parking lot — across the street from St. Jude Hospital — but Fresh Kabobs still does not validate parking passes. Parking is free, however, for the first 30 minutes. It is a minor inconvenience because you are forced to eat quickly unless you are fine with paying for parking. Summation: A good choice for tasty, non-greasy and affordable Pakistani food. The portions are just enough to make for a satisfying meal. The wonderful sauces add another layer to the dishes. I hope this restaurant location begins to validate for parking. The delicious, healthy food preparation is still worth it for me to overlook the inconvenient parking situation to comeback to try their curry bowls, lamb and other dishes on their menu. Look for the $ 12 for $ 20 worth of food Unilocal Deal and also through Groupon.

Newbie to Indian. Second time and this was wayyyyyy better than the last I had which was in Tustin,(India Kitchen). Casual, clean and friendly. Quite disappointed when I was told their New Zealand lamb chops and shanks won’t be in until later in the afternoon. Uggggg. Reason why I came! Garlic Naan smelled so good when it came. Garlicky warm goodness. Three dipping sauces kept in front in a little frig. Help yourselves. Spicy mango, mint and garlic. Fav was def the spicy mango. Addicting! The naan had more of a pita texture than the last I had which was harder and dry. Not quite sure how naan is suppose to be but I thought it was delicious. I mean, I simply love pita so this was great! Shrimp Tikka Masala was yumm. Shrimp wasn’t overcooked and sauce was good. Comparing this to the last tikka I had, this isn’t as authentic. Spices are more toned down and less creamy but still delicious. Actually prefer it here. Chicken 3 ways was reccomded. Not much of a chicken brest person. Little dry but I must give them credit, it’s more moist than many other placs that try to grill chicken brest. Basmati rice, peas and veges accompanied w/thie chicken was great. Just love the basmati rice w/spices. Outstanding with some tikka sauce. Honey Glazed Chicken togo for the kiddos… Had a bite later on. It’s alright. Nothing special. Chicken 3 Ways, Shrimp Tikka Masala, Honey Glazed Chicken, 2 Garlic Naan, 2 drinks and a Donut Hole desert(never got to it), was a little short of $ 50 bucks. Not bad. So my journey wasn’t a complete lost. I liked the Garlic Naan with the wonderful Spicy Mango sauce and Shrimp Tikka was delicious. Most definitely will return to try the Lanb Chops/Shank, Whole Fried Pomfret Fish and Paneer Wrap. Final thought… Dig it here! Not only I found a few items I liked, there’s more on the menu I really want to try, which I will… Prices are reasonable for quality ingredients. Wouldn’t expect it at such a casual joint but good quality ingredients! Although it’s not totally authentic, still has desticktive flavors of India that taste great. Besides, being that I’m new to Indian, going from not as authentic to authentic isn’t a bad idea.

We ordered takeout on a weekend afternoon as I had been meaning to try this place out for the longest time. The biggest obstacle was that I did not know where this place was. It is tucked away beside the Panera Bread in hospital central. Pros: 1) Lamb shank was very tender. I have not seen lamb shank biriyani as a menu item in any other desi restaurants so far?(+1 star) 2) Rice as well as curry has flavor 3) Lots of chicken pieces in the tikka masala. 4) Naan was still tender 30 minutes after we had picked up our food. 5) Owners appeared very down to earth. Cons: 1) Lamb shank biriyani had only 4 spoons of biriyani. I could have done with a tad bit more biriyani in the dish. I will definitely be back to try their kabobs.

For a Kabob place, the fish dishes were outstanding. Looking around my Unilocal app I came across Fresh Kabob. It had a very intriguing menu of Kabobs, Indian & Pakistani dishes. The clincher was a Unilocal Deal $ 12 for $ 20. I was sold. The space they occupy used to be a ZPizza. The parking is a bit funky. It’s small and you have to get a ticket to get in(for this tiny parking lot, are you serious). 2 hours free, during regular business hours. It’s just a hassle. It’s free after 5 or 6 pm(the crossing guard arm is up) I looked over the menu and i found a lot I liked. Here’s the rundown: Golden Whole Promfet Fish — Deep fried to perfection. It is spicy and lemony at the same time, so so good. The crispy skin and moist meat is absolutely delicious. It came with a side order of salad and peas with onion & potato. The peas were delicious, Yum. Tip: If you are getting this to go, make sure you open the container on the way home. If you want that skin to remain crispy. If not, it’s soggy city, not good eats. Tandoori Salmon Salad — The tandoori salmon was very moist and delicious. The salad, I had with the mango sauce and it was delicious with that combinations. Lamb Shank Biryani — I have mixed feelings on this dish. I thought the lamb shank was just so so. I might be bias, because, i just had a really good lamb shank the day before. The rice biryani on the other hand was just so so good. It was spicy and very flavorful. I might try the chicken biryani next time. Garlic Naan was a disappointment for me. It was just two small pieces and not charred like the ones at other Indian places I go to and the garlic flavor was very weak. i would pass on this next time. They offer 3 fabulous sauces: Mint — very minty and great with salads. Garlic — it’s a very rough garlic sauce, not refined in my opinion. It had some bitter under tones for me. Mango — Heck Ya! SPICY and so tasty. I put this on the salad, the salmon and the pomfret. Put it on anything, it’ll make it taste good. Tip: Take advantage of the Unilocal Deal. It’s worth it. I saved 20% on this meal. Score. Tip: 10% Unilocal check in deal only applies to Kabob orders(unfortunately for me I ordered a bunch of fish dishes, not kabobs. lol) Price is okay. Get any deal you can get to make it reasonable. lol I definitely like the fish dishes, now it’s time to try the kabobs, Next Time. I’m a fan and… I’ll definitely be back.

Another one of my favourite spots in LA. It’s def the freshest food you’ll get that is spiced to perfection. Quite a simple menu w/a brilliant selection of India/Pakistan’s most popular delicacies. They have definitely embraced the authentic South Asian flavors as well as superb presentation when it comes to plating… and they give you so much food Top fav items are garlic naan, 3-way chicken kabobs, chicken kabob wraps & the tandoori chicken spiced bowl. Love this ’10 spice rice’ it’s served with. All of the sauces are on point. I’m so glad the food isn’t your typical greasy full of oil Indian curries… it’s a way more healthier version here w/lots of flavour and to top it off the staff & owner truly are delightful so that just makes it even better
