It’s one of our favorite Mexican joints. Mom and pop shop. Same workers over the years. No frill, solid food. The wait can be long.

I USED to be a frequent customer here. However, due to the customer service I will no longer return. There is a heavy set young women that works behind the counter with the worse attitude. I placed an over the phone pick up order for a burrito with no onions or cilantro with avocado slices. I picked up order and went home. I took the first bite and could tell there were onions and guacamole, not avocado slices. No big deal, I took the burrito back and explained the situation to this woman. She told me it was not possible because she made the burrito. I told her I know what I bit into and there were onions. She proceeded to open up the burrito, call everyone working behind the counter to inspect the burrito and had a huge tantrum. She then said«What, do you expect to get another burrito for free?» in a sarcastic manner. She then said that was not going to happen and at least refunded my money. The issue I have is the way this was handled. There was no need for the big scene she caused that made my situation the main focus of the entire restaurant. Very unprofessional and rude. I will no longer return to this establishment.

I’ve been coming here for years and the service is getting worse and worse. The food isn’t bad, in fact, it’s really good and authentic. But the people that run the register are unbelievably rude and petulant! I try not to look too closely bc it’s also getting real dirty and I don’t want to see bc I still want their tacos but a word of advice, AVOIDTHESALSABAR. I’ve seen people stick their fingers in there, drop the spoons and tonight there was a fat guy serving himself salsa while burping and he was just gross!

This review is regarding the chile verde and beans. Chile verde is awesome — the meat is a little overcooked but the salsa is amazing. The beans did not disappoint. So good!

Good mexican food, seems like the same people have worked here for an eternity. Good fish tacos, better burritos. Really good tortas and tostadas. The other meat tacos here are not my favorite, but a pound of carnitas and a stack of tortillas with a side of cebollas y cilantro is what i usually order. Some very, very good salsas here and that is key. Friendly and very consistent, sometimes a bit crowded. Come often enough and you might see Kobe Bryant whose wife loves to come here! Mixed emotions about this place, but the carnitas and salsas keep me coming back. Fresh jugos are a nice change of pace from sodas and aguas frescas. Interesting side note, years ago I found una pierna de cuca in one of the salsas; couldn’t keep me away forever though! Don’t judge!

The worst part about moving away from Fullerton was knowing I’d be farther from my beloved Camino We still make it out there when we’re in the old hood. Bomb and affordable Mexican food! Sad to say, but we haven’t found comparable in the HB area yet. Love you guys xoxo! p. s. I could drink your red salsa

Lengua tacos are really good. Food takes a while to come out. Best tacos in that area.

I only get their asada nachos. But I’ve been getting them for 10 years. I don’t know how they do it but it still tastes great to this day. You can tell from the first bite that their ingredients are fresh. The don’t skimp out on the quantity either. You will always have a full load of nachos brimming to the top of the lid. Best nachos in the area hands down.

02/06/2016 — First time in a long time: On the salad tip: Al pastor taco salad Chicken tostada It’s been a long time since I’ve been here. We ordered our food along with platano liquido and sandia(so yum). I was in mid-carnage mode when I pulled out a nice long hair strand. I took it back and they replaced it with another order but they muffed it up. At least, they replaced it I guess. This won’t be a comeback spot for us anymore. So bummed.

When I was living in WA, my sister would take me on a «food tour» when I would come back to southern CA to visit. So I found this one sitting in my drafts… It’s from a while back, but the food here was really good. I love cabeza and lengua. My sister said that I would totally like the ceviche too, so I decided to try it. So I ordered, Ceviche, lengua taco, and a cabeza taco. I had been warned that the portions were large. They were bigger than usual, much to my enjoyment. The ceviche was very fresh tasting though, since I can’t eat as much as the rest of my family, I the future, I would skip that and get more lengua and cabeza tacos — or maybe trade one lengua taco for the ceviche. I’m really hungry now… The lengua was really tender and it wasn’t all soggy like at some places. It was both cooked and seasoned well. The cabeza was outstanding. Really flavorful, super tender. I would definitely order multiple cabeza tacos in the future. I felt like we waited for an eternity for our food. It was about 40 minutes. I think that’s a little ridiculous for ceviche and tacos. That’s the easiest order to put together! The food here is excellent, but the customer service is lacking and can be improved upon. I think that the food here is really the star, so despite the bad customer service, I still give it four stars.

Thee best potato tacos hands down in the OC! Crowded? Yes, cause it’s that good. Friendly folks as well. Cash is best!

Ok, I just needed to give my update after at least 4 visits. Food is still great! However, it wasn’t just my Sunday morning I first posted about that was busy, it’s every single one of my 4 or 5 visits that’s busy. Every time of the day, or evening of the week – it’s always busy! Even if there’s only a couple people in front of you, it’s still probably at least a 20 – 25 minute wait. Kind of a pity since the food is pretty delicious. But my original review still stands – the timing though, so horrible. (Let’s just say one of my visits, I went to Stater Bros and did my shopping – came back and it still wasn’t ready)

I love this place a lot!!! I get their chorizo taco plate it’s so good and their salsa is amazing! My family has been coming here since they were little and now wee coming to this place the food is delicious but their customer service sucks! That’s why they will get 4 stars. I brought my cousin here and we try to come here every so often! I even brought my grandma here! Lol! My husband really doesn’t like the place or he says I ruined Mexican food for him bc I can eat it all day everyday! Lol! I also found out that Kobe eats here! Omg! I need to start coming here during the night to catch him?! Ahh! Lol. Well whatever the place is grrrrreat!!! Customer service. Boo. They suck! No personality, no smile, no friendly faces. One lady was even rude and surprised I understood Spanish bc I look like a white girl.

Cheap and nasty. I’m still feeling nauseous from the breakfast burrito I had this morning. I’m finding the more I eat here the less I like it. And regardless of what I order, the dominating flavor of everything is grease and salt. On top of that, the pico de gallo is tasteless. No bueno. Ok. I need to go poo again. Bye.

Five stars for the chicken flautas. The ones they have here are the best ones I have ever had. And they come with guac! And it is of course delicious too. The carnitas burrito, the breakfast burrito, and the chile rellenos were good. But I would rather get the flautas… I kind of want them now. It can take quite a while to get your food regardless of how busy it is, but I think you can call your order ahead if you want. Yes, the ladies at the front aren’t super friendly, but who cares? It’s not a sit down restaurant. You order, you pay, you get good food, you leave. I think most people take it to go; I always have.

The food takes way too long to come out. And the carne al pastor isn’t good at all! It’s way too dry. So if you’re getting tacos don’t get al pastor.

DELICIOUSTACOSANDEXCELLENTSERVICE!!! My friend and I always come here after work for some late night tacos. Their sopes are amazing and their tacos are equally as amazing. They give you free chips with salsa which is a plus! The only downside is that they close pretty early, but doesn’t affect my ratings :-)

I’m not really into Mexican food, but my boyfriend loves it. A lot of people think that the food here is really authentic so I guess it is. The chips are delicious and crispy, and the salsas are awesome! I made the mistake of ordering 2 items(quesedilla and chile relleno) thinking they would be small, but they are actually quite large! And they both came with shredded lettuce, tomatoes and onions on the side. The restaurant itself is pretty dated though, and the workers were slow to clean up some of the tables. Can’t really comment on the bathrooms as I was kinda scared to use it. Overall, I didn’t feel like the restaurant was comfortably clean. The prices are really good for the food you get, I’ll admit, but I’m still not a fan of Mexican food or this particular restaurant.
