This is an updated review. I ordered 2 seafood Ramon’s over the phone and the guy stated it would take 10 minutes. I took an extra 5 minutes to get there just to make sure it was done on time. When I got there, it wasn’t even ready and the guy kept yelling at the cook(I’m guessing to tell him to hurry up). I finally get my food and come home when I see half of the ingredients they normally put in weren’t even in it and the color of the broth was totally off. It actually tasted like a ramen noodle bag that you can buy for 10 cents. I was very unhappy.

The rolls are okay, but I typically only get the California rolls or the Crunch rolls. Today I just wanted the Crunch roll, but the total came out to be $ 7.55. The cashier then told me it was an $ 8 minimum for a credit card. I didn’t see a sign anywhere. They did swipe my card because my brother asked why there was an $ 8 minimum policy. And they got me a different customer’s order. I was really disappointed today :/. Service wasn’t bad, but it could be better.

I want to like this place because the sushi was good, but it tastes like any other Korean owned sushi place and I felt that they somewhat overcharge at around $ 8~$ 10 for a specialty roll. I understand that if this were a restaurant that would be a reasonable price, but being inside a grocery store, I dont think the price is reasonable. Also, they charged me extra for using my credit card and I unfortunately did not know until I got home. I had even asked the owner if there was a charge for credit cards and he had said no.

The food is amazing for the price! All of the fish is super fresh despite it being a small shop in a supermarket. The udon broth is made fresh daily with real seafood. None of that pre-made soup broth in a packet business. The spicy tuna and unagi rolls are also delicious. All of the workers are super friendly and gave me an extra roll and miso soup. Will definitely be coming back here very soon.

The gentleman at the register seemed a little apathetic, prolly just tired of working in a market. He threw in an extra Miso soup though, which made up for the expression on his face. Ordered the Spicy Fish Salad. There was too much rice, but the amount of food and quality was good for the price, $ 8.99, even with all the rice. Also ordered the Momil Noodles. I was impressively good @ $ 6.50. This place is good for a market sushi restaurant. I was pleased.
