So about this Denny’s we went to this morning. Where to start? I was aware before we even entered the establishment, that Denny’s certainly isn’t the epitome of fine dining by a long shot. This experience definitely took the cake! The restaurant in itself wasn’t actually the problem, but our beyond belief shitty waitress was. She approached my boyfriend and me with a fake nice«I’m happy to see you» greeting, making it apparent that the«fucktards» was silent. She proceeded to leave an entire part of my order in the damned kitchen and then practically disappeared for the next half hour to fuck off doing shit anywhere but in her own section. Grievances about the food: the orange juice tasted awful, the tomatoes in my omlet may as well have been pulled out of a toilette bowl themselves, the water glasses we were given hadn’t been cleaned properly and again, our waitress was nowhere to be seen. Needless to say, we’re not very happy. Generally, I try to be understanding of people working in any type of service industry, but this is not acceptable.

We went for a Veterans Day breakfast and all I can say was the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. There was too much yelling amongst the workers and for Vetrens to hear all that while trying to have breakfast was just unbelievable.

Thanks for recognizing our veterans today! You’re great. The food was fine and the service was even better.

I mistakenly went here yesterday — had never been. I have never had such poor service, ANYWHERE! When I finally got the menu(place was nearly empty), I had to ask the vacuum guy to get my waitress come back to take my order — NOWHERE to be seen. It didn’t take long to get the order, and the food was fine, but the waitress never came back to check on me or ask if I needed more tea(which I did) until it was almost too late — I had to leave. I watched a man try to get someone’s attention so he could pay his bill and even went towards the back, knocked, and found no one. There was NOONE around basically the entire time I was there. I also think, for a JOINT like Dennys, the prices were high. I paid $ 12 for Bacon cheeseburger, small amount of fries, «included», and iced tea which was $ 2.89! I will never go back.

I love Denny’s! I have to give this place 1 star not because of the food but the building. Seems like it’s an old building, as soon as you walk in it stinks so bad. Restrooms were gross. I didn’t even want to eat. This place is in need of a complete renovation!

The service was horrible. The wait staff had such a bad attitude. From the second we walked in we were greeted with an attitude. One of the waitress’s basically threw a menu at me. When I told them the lemonade was out, the waitress rolled her eyes and walked away. We ended up leaving and notifying the manager. Luckily the manager was very apologetic. My family and I will not be coming back.

The place is dated and a bit depressing. The layout is suffocating. The kitchen is walled-in at the center with seemingly narrow seating areas surrounding it. It really could use an update. The crowd is different. The food — even the onions and cherry tomatoes were very oily.

The breakfast was fine and the waitstaff was as much. The booth seats were very low. Not great for short people.

Location near N I35W(Fort Worth North Fwy) and Western Center Blvd… Just North of Loop 820 off of I35. AVOIDTHISDENNYSRESTAURANTLOCATION !!! Directly after my Boy Scout meeting, while still in Scout uniform I ate at the counter in front of the kitchen of this specific Denny’s location and went home to bed without eating or drinking anything else. A few hours later, I woke up in the middle of the night with very nauseous with diarrhea and was hospitalized for food poisoning, losing 3 days of work. The Denny’s restaurant manager was not sympathetic in the least, and Continental Foods in Richardson(franchise owner) was arrogant, defiant, and hostile/rude toward me on the phone, stating that food poisoning is an absolute impossibility from that Denny’s location, and refused to give me their insurance information and refused to take my calls from then on. My insurance finally filed with their insurance, but because there was no laboratory work performed to have evidence for a lawsuit, Continental Foods insurance carrier denied all claims of food poisoning and I am out over $ 4000 loss for eating a free birthday-slam breakfast meal. The manager claims I am the first and only person to complain to them about food poisoning in over five years.

My son and I both got food poisoning on Monday. Had biscuits and gravy, sausage skillet and pancakes. Monday night and all day Tuesday in hell.

I know how bad this place is, yet I occasionally return because it’s close to home. The bacon was chewy and undercooked. The toast was soggy. The hash browns are obviously frozen. The eggs were perfectly cooked though, and I enjoyed my coffee. Sometimes I’m fine with coffee and toast from a dirty diner.

It was pretty bad, when we first walked in one of the waitresses was cussing at the cooks. The service was really slow and the mugs were all cracked up and stained. The food came out very cold and the waiter wouldn’t even bring out our check. We had to flag him down to pay for the horrible food and service.

My wife and I had breakfast there this morning. My wife had the Red, White, and Blue Pancakes Breakfast. Everything was well prepared and tasted very good, as we have come to expect, except for the strawberries on the pancakes. Our server told us when that she had forgotten to tell us that they were out of fresh strawberries after she had already served our meals. Some of the berry slices were as good as I have ever had, but others were bitter. I had their Ultimate Omelette and found it also to be well prepared and tasty. The only shortcoming was that I ordered biscuits and gravy with it and the gravy was the stuff made from a mix(I accept that — it is virtually impossible to get real white gravy anywhere, though I don’t know why) and they had put some chopped-up sausage on top. The sausage is unforgivable. Firstly, southern gravy does NOT have sausage in it. Secondly, if you MUST put sausage in your gravy, it should be part of the gravy, not just piled on top. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. HOWEVER, the service was what I have come to expect from Denny’s in my thirty-five-plus years of eating there occasionally. Simply, it sucked. The waitress took forever to come back after we told her that we needed a few minutes after she wanted to take our order three minutes after handing us menus, including an all new Red, White, and Blue Plate Special menu three pages long that we had never seen before. She then committed the unpardonable sin of not keeping our coffee cups filled. In a joint like Denny’s, the coffee must NEVER run dry. Overall, it was just plain poor service with pretty good food.

I was eager to visit Denny’s. I used to eat there after a late night of fun… but that was NOT at this location. This is by far, the worst rating I’ve ever gave any place — EVER. I had the pot roast skillet with a garden salad and the mini apple crisp. It tasted fine. I was hungry, wasn’t feeling picky. Within 30 minutes to an hour, I was running to the bathroom. At first I brushed it off, maybe something just didn’t agree with me. It passed. 8 hours later I woke up with diarrhea and vomiting. Food poisoning. Typically means the food was left too long at room temperature or I was contaminated by a food handler. Either way, I’ve never been sicker in my life. Don’t eat here, but if you do: make sure your food is HOT.

Always open and never had a complaint on the food. The prices are cheaper than IHOP and selection is greater than Waffle House. The parking situation at this location is quite strange, make sure you park on the south side of the building. When I go it’s really late so my review is from those experiences. You may stand at the front door with no one talking you for a second when you first walk in; eventually a server will run by you and say sit wherever you like. This is not meant to be rude, this is because they’re trying to get food out as quick as possible since there is usually only one server, one cool, and a manager at this hour. The waitstaff will remember you after one or two visits if you come during these hours and I have always received friendly service.
