Our whole experience was outstanding. Two of us did a mid-week ½ day rental and had a fantastic experience. We had been a few times before several years ago, to a few different places, and found Northeast to be the best at that time, so we came back. We can’t say enough about how knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant to interact act with they ALL were. They made sure we were prepared for the COLD, explained the operation of snowmobiles, reviewed safety measures, and showed trail options for us to take. A guide led us out for the first 10 minutes to make sure we were comfortable with handling and maneuvering the snowmobiles and pointed us in the right direction. We needed to rent snowmobile suits due to the cold. The suits were in great shape, there were many helmets to try(all were in great shape), and the snowmobiles looked(and operated) perfectly. Going mid-week works out well, as the trails had very few people — so if that’s an option I would highly recommend going mid-week. Great place, great people and great fun. Highly recommend Northeast Snowmobile.

My husband and I have rented twice from Northeast Snowmobile Rentals and have had a great experience both times. Their location in Fryeburg is perfect because they are right on the trails, literally Rent and Ride!!! We have a good amount of experience on snowmobiles, and had our own gear,(though if needed, I think they can provide you with everything you will need) but we were impressed that the sleds we rented both times seemed very new and were very fun to ride. I was unsure of the conditions the second time we rented, as there wasn’t much snow in some parts of the state, but Terry directed us to great trails that were well groomed and had plenty of snow. A bonus for some would be the standard GPS on all sleds– we didn’t need it, but I can imagine it would come in handy if you got a bit turned around! I hadn’t heard of that before on snowmobiles. As mentioned in other reviews, you can either go on your own if you have experience, or one of their guides will take you out. It was great that we could reserve online. One point of advice would be to reserve early for weekends, they book up quickly. I see that they now offer ATV rentals in Gorham, NH. I have dirt biked on those trails and they are beautiful. I can’t review their ATV’s yet, but we hope to get out this summer.

Came here for my birthday yesterday with the gf and paid for four hours. Was told to have both single sleds back by 4 by the guide. Trails were still ok late in season and while we already left we realized it seemed short and that’s is because we were only out on the snowmobiles for 3 hours. Receptionist didn’t say anything about us having another hour and the guide kinda screwed us out of an hour. I called them after the fact and they said they could give us another hour the next day but it wasn’t worth the drive back for us just for an hour out and we had other plans. Still a good first experience!

This place is an absolute MUST if you’re vacationing in the area. I was surprised it wasn’t busier. I originally rented only one double sled for my partner and I, but was talked into two singles and didn’t regret it for a second! Wow! The check in process was very simple and, although we elected to be on our own, a really nice guy showed us the way to a reasonable point. The trails were great and the staff and equipment were spectacular. We will definitely be coming back!

Great snowmobile experience. The conditions were great. Everything was smooth — the check in process, set up and the ride! What was really cool was you can be on your own for a while just exploring the trails. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!!!

I am giving this three stars because Terry was a great guy, however his brother(not sure his name) but was SORUDE, blamed myself for a crack that was ALREADY on the sled. Literally raised his voice and walked out saying«I hate *uc*ing liars. To always ooint out I HAVENEVERRODE A SNOWMOBILEBEFORE. I’m sorry but that is extremely poor business, unprofessional nd I would NEVER accept that with the people who work for me. Terry to allow that to even happen is wrong. Myself and 3 othets were in a group and herd his attitude, not happy !!! Terrys brother customer service lacked. So now we wait and see if a charge gets put on our card for this when we were told by terry it wasn’t Terry –thankyou for being a great guy!

Just an incredible, fun experience, especially for those not accustomed to the snowmobiling culture or sport. My tips: Reserve early, hire a guide. It’s an additional charge but VERY worth it. Go out for a couple of hours at least and have some fun hot dogging in one of the fields. I hear the owner is in the process of adding some point of sale features. Definitely a growing business and one the owner seems very in-tuned with. Had a great time. You will too!
