I stayed here for a tragically short one night this week as a place to rest my head while in town for skiing at Snowshoe, but I was blown away when I arrived. I knew I was getting a fun theme room(I stayed in the safari room) but I wasn’t aware of how fantastic the rest of the place would be. I arrived around 10PM and was warmly welcomed and given a brief tour of the inn’s beautiful interior on the way to my room. Everything was clean, the décor very lively, and full of nice little touches. The entertainment area has a bar, 3D tv, billiards, foosball, an arcade machine, countless board games and a crazy big dvd collection. The library is fantastic and one could easily spend the entire day in it. The breakfast made by the inn’s chef was delicious and everyone was super friendly. Considering the reasonable cost of the stay I never expected this level of luxury when I booked my room here, and I will definitely be coming back and bringing others with me. While it is an inn, it’s also a research center, so if you’re looking to do some reading and researching with your work colleagues, you should definitely consider this. They need business because few people know they’re out there yet. It’s a bit far from other local attractions, but I think it’s an attraction of it’s own.

Loved the farm tour, the quiet area, breakfast and dinner. It’s nice to have no cell phone for awhile. We stayed in the rustic room with our two small dogs. The room is clean and with an unique theme as described on their website. The only downside is this place is too far from where we live. We would definitely like to visit more if it’s closer. It’s a perfect place for kids too.
