Katie is amazing at color, cut, styling the works! She will be transparent and actually cares about the health of your hair. I recommend her to anyone. She even lifted my jet black dyed hair to amazing blonde and brown highlights.

Came in after a terrible experience with another salon dyeing my hair and Leslie fixed it perfectly! She is amazing with color and knows exactly how to keep your hair healthy while giving you the color that you want. Highly recommend her!

I am beyond thrilled with the cut and color I received from Heather H. at Stonewater. She used a new technique(Balayage) to highlight/lowlight my hair and it looks AMAZING! The color looks so natural and I’m delighted that the regrowth won’t be as noticeable as my hair gets longer. The short bob cut is also exactly what I wanted and I got some great advice about products that will make it easy to maintain. Thanks so much, Heather! I’ll definitely be back!

In the highest end shopping mall in St. Louis, Frontenac Plaza(said in my most hoity toity voice) you will find Stone Water Spa. About 10 years ago I had the best massage on the planet and in my whole life in this spa. I came back recently due to gift cards from Mr. Wonderful(my husband) that I wanted to use. I booked a massage and facial with no one in particular and showed up on a Sunday afternoon for my spa day hoping for the best. I checked in on the main level at the front desk and was led up a large staircase to the ladies locker room where I changed into a spa robe. I then waited in a nicely appointed salle d’ettente until Carol came to take me back for my massage. I had a nice 80 minute massage on a heated table with Carol focusing on some sore areas from a recent half marathon training. The massage was very nice and relaxing, almost putting me to sleep. I was led back to the waiting area and Sommara came to get me for my facial. The facial was 50 minutes of applying a variety of different skin care products on my face some irritating, most not. Aside from a little irritation initially my skin looked and felt great when I left the spa. Carol and Sommara where both very nice and professional. My final analysis of Stone Water Spa would be that for the location and prices I would expect to be blown away but something about the experience and the look/feel of the spa wasnt over the top Five Star Rating material. I have returned and likely will again as I really like Sommara and she did a great job on my eyebrows the most recent time I was in.

This Spa is definitely in the wrong location, maybe it should be next to an outlet mall rather than near a Neiman Marcus and Louis Vuitton. Visiting from Las Vegas and have worked in hospitality business, service is very important to me. I was not impressed with Stone Water Spa and Salon. Given it’s location I was expecting a luxurious spa, friendly staff, and to be taken care of. The staff was unfriendly, I didn’t feel pampered at all and the venue was nothing special. My sister in-law brought me here for a nice relaxing facial, but unfortunately it was more like an express facial. The aesthetician was so sloppy dropping product on my eyelid, in my hairI went in the room 10 minutes after my sister in law and I was done with my facial 15 minutes before her. The aesthetician wasn’t the friendliest person, which working based on gratuity you would think you could maybe put a smile on your face. This was the first facial, and I’ve had many, where the aesthetician slapped a mask on my face and left me hanging for 10 – 15 minutes. Usually while a mask is on an aesthetician will cleanse your declate or do a hand massage. Terrible.

Winter break was extremely stressful(I mean sleeping until noon all day was tough) and my hair was letting me know by all the grays that kept popping up every few hours or days. I had been looking at various places to get my hair did and a friend suggested Stonewater. At first I was skeptical, because it had«spa salon & boutique» in the name and thought it was cost an arm and a leg. Boy did they prove me wrong! My stylist was Heather and she was super awesome and knew her stuff. I was highly impressed with the overall color and service that I received. I even loved their lemon water! So good and refreshing! I can not wait to go back to get my hair did! I highly suggest it and the prices are pretty reasonable!

I have been to Stonewater for waxing, manis, pedis, massages and haircuts. I have never had a bad experience there and service has always been top notch. The new remodel of the Spa and Pedi room make it even better now! The new Spa is so cozy, relaxing and welcoming. It is a great way to start out your massage or facial. I loved getting pedis done here before but with the new Pedi room, I can’t wait to schedule my next one! I can’t wait to book a full day of pampering at Stonewater and just let my stress melt away!

I started going to Stonewater several years ago when I attended St. Louis University. I was on the hunt for a good place to get my eyebrows waxed(which I’m very particular about!) After trying a couple places in the city I gave Stonewater a shot and was extremely happy. It is a bit of a higher price point but I’m always happy with the results. I’ve been going to Amy at Stonewater for the past several years, she does a great job! She really knows how to shape a full eyebrow and uses a certain wax that doesn’t irritate my skin.

I love the massages, mani, and pedis. The staff is excellent and the price is not too bad. I have only had one so-so massage here, I find they to really cater to my muscle issues.

Got a deep tissue massage here. The massage itself was ok — the room was too cold, the strokes rather uninspired. The masseuse didn’t seem very responsive to feedback(when I told her she could increase the pressure, she never bothered to ask whether the new pressure level was ok– it wasnt). The ambience is nice and the lounge is pretty relaxing and I may or may not have gotten under the comforters they have lying around fully dressed.

First off, this spa is pricey. If you aren’t prepared for an expensive experience, you will be ticked here. I’ve been here for a massage and facial and then came back for a manicure and pedicure. I thought the waiting area for the massage/facial was very nice, peaceful and serene. Probably one of the best in St. Louis.(Spa at the Four Seasons has the best waiting area but also has the highest prices.) The massage and facial were good, not the best I’ve ever had, not the worst. The downstairs area(where the mani/pedis are) is not nearly as nice as upstairs. The chairs for the pedis are a bit worn and the massage features don’t even work on several of them which is quite a shock for a place at this price point. THat said, the nail tech did a fabulous job, was very friendly and was professional. All in all, if you’re looking to treat yourself and willing to pay for it, this is a decent place to go.

First and LAST time I will ever go there. Went for a massage and pedicure. For a high-end place the waiting area for spa services is so noisy and busy and completely uninviting. The actual massage was fine, nothing amazing. My friend commented on hearing several loud crashes coming from outside her room during her massage. Went back downstairs for pedicures and the technicians had us waiting with our feet soaking for so long that the water was cold by the time they finally began. The pedicure chairs were very worn, dingy looking, and the massage chair remotes busted and did not work. The receptionists seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping the line of people and were incredibly misinformed about the products. For as much as we had to pay, and it was A LOT, the place was really chaotic, shabby, and not service oriented.

This Salon is way overrated. The talent at this salon is not the best I have experienced. Didn’t love the massage I got here, have had wayyy better. I only like Connie for doing my eye brows, had a bad experience with somebody else. Forget getting your haircut here! Bad layers, seriously dont go here for that reason.

Stone Water Spa & Salon is the ULTIMATE retreat to relax and unwind! In the hierarchy of luxurious-ness, it’s hard to top this place! Service: I’ve gotten a mani/pedi here and it costed about $ 50(I know, it’s not cheap) but they DO take their time with you and give you the attention you deserve for that amount of money. I think I was there for about 2 hours for the entire service. For your pedicure, they drop one of those bath bombs from the Lush soap line and you get to choose the scent! YUM! I’ve also had my hair deep conditioned and the lady was also very attentive and did a great job. I just love the Kerastase products they use. It’s simply the best! Their spa services are standard and it really depends on the person you have and what you’re getting. Ambiance: This place is huge! They have their mani/pedi station and salon on the first level and all their spa services on the second. Be sure to CLEAR your schedule when you book an appointment here. You want to take your time in this place and you’ll feel so relax and good about yourself that you won’t want to do much for the rest of the day(except for shop, maybe) or you’ll feel so energized and refreshed, you’ll be super productive when you get back to work! Location: It’s located inside Plaza Frontenac so you know this spa is going to be a bit pricier than most. It’ll be easier to get to if you try to look for parking by Saks Fifth Avenue.

Only one word can describe this spacious spa… Heaven. Modernly bright décor sets this salon apart from all others. Not only were the employees incredibly attentive, the service was immaculate. Pedicure lasted about 40 minutes but it was utterly enjoyable and my highly trained professional kept me completely engaged. Though above average in price, experience worth it all.
