I like Dr. Ely a lot. He has been a good eye doctor for years. He provided all the exams and services that my insurance would pay for. But i was completely disappointed when this office became a ‘my eye dr’ office. I was told that to receive the same exams that I had been receiving, I would have to pay for them out of my own pocket. They would not submit them to my insurance company. My insurance did not change. They would pay for the exams. So you tell me. Who is this corporation out to serve? The insurance companies, by cutting their costs or the patients? I will not be returning. I pay for that insurance. I should not be denied the services by the corporate provider.
