I wanted to like this salon but I am not a fan and wont return. Upon my arrival I waited and waited and waited to be called into my facial appointment. The receptionist didn’t bother giving me updates and I asked twice when was the expected time. 45 minutes after my appointment time she tells me they’re almost ready for me. If it had been a phenomenal facial I probably wouldnt have minded the wait but I left with residue on my face.
The woman doing my facial was nice and polite but her technique was not the best. She constantly told me about things not included in my refresh facial and it’d cost me x, y and z if I wanted to add it. She tried to sell some products to me which I did like the products but when during the facial I prefer silence and once it’s done I’m happy to hear a product pitch.
When I got into my car I looked in the mirror to get a better look at the results and I’m not sure if it was part of the mask she used but there was white product still on my face somehow. Never have I had a facial and there be residue from any product noticeable afterwards.
Won’t be returning. Still searching for a great spa and salon.

I really wanted to like this place, but when I went in for a trim last week, and came out with a really low quality haircut for $ 90, I just couldn’t. I have been trying to grow my hair out for the past year, and I am right back to where I started a year ago– trying to grow out uneven layers. It looked pretty good when I left the salon, nothing amazing, but once I washed it and tried to style it myself, it just did not look good at all. And, I am a hair stylist myself so I realize this isn’t a majorly messed up haircut, it can easily be fixed and cut so that it looks more polished and clean. I mean, seriously, I am not super picky at all, but the layers were sloppily cut, there are random pieces sticking out in places, the face framing fringe is uneven and jagged, and for a $ 90 hair cut this just shouldn’t happen. That’s the kind of thing you’d get for $ 20 at supercuts. I really don’t want to bash the salon too much, but my biggest complaint is spending $ 90, on top of another $ 90 or so to fix this for a really sloppy hair cut.

Carly just did my 9-​year old’s Hair Dreams system. You definitely get what you pay for. My daughter has a condition where her hair doesn’t grow and she’s been self conscious from unkind comments for a long time. She walked out of the shop with a huge smile on her face bouncing a full head of 7-​star human hair on her pretty little head!
We did it for her, she knows we think she’s beautiful no matter what, but the Hair Dreams has changed for confidence!
Still stomaching the cost & maintenance charges every 6 weeks but it is incredible quality!

The only place I allow to color and cut my hair. Terri is amazing and Melissa as well. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The ambiance is beautiful. Very high end salon.

Von Anthony Salon in Frisco is fantastic! I have been going to Laura here for about a year, and every time I come in it’s a wonderful experience. She is the best! They use some of the best products — I love Oribe especially, and they treat they customers amazingly. My color and cuts are always perfection, and I get endless compliments for weeks on end. Plus, their technique is very unique, and I noticed I can go about 8 – 10 weeks before it’s noticeable I need touch ups, which is way better than the past hair place I went to, there would have been no way I could have gone past 6 weeks without more roots than a forest. This is definitely a spa like experience!

This salon is exquisite and the staff works hard to make you feel special. I am very particular on my cuts and highlights and have tried many places in DFW. No one does hair like Nevalyn Farley! She is the only person I trust with my hair and she never disappoints!

Don’t set foot in this place unless your getting a bleach job and even then I wouldn’t suggest going here.
I came in to help out a girl looking for hair models. But after I spent about 5 minutes with the girl who invited me in and schedule my appointment she was escorted away and the ‘manager’ said someone else would cut my hair. Then I was passed around to 3 different stylists and each one did not listen to what I wanted. They didn’t even offer to book a second appointment and I believe it was because they did not think I belonged in that salon. I was pretty offended.
Also the girl I had booked an appointment with was sent home! I could understand if maybe she didn’t have to ability to cut my hair which is a short pixie cut but seriously let her stay and learn! Instead 3 other girls stood around me while I was passed around to almost every stylist there.
This place sucked and I would never go back here not only did my hair grow out terribly about a week later but every person I dealt with there made me feel like I didn’t belong. But I guess that’s what you get for going to a salon in Frisco.

Love love love. Devon is the best! Salon is clean fashionable and has is full service. Best salon in Frisco by far. My color looks natural, and bright. My hair looks thick and full!

They have some good stylist but every time I go I have to see someone new because the previous person is «away.» The first time was great, the next time was okay, the last stylist was awful. The manager called me because I had been unhappy to let me know that I had not requested their «high level» stylist. I have always paid over $ 100 for service/​tip so I was unaware that I had an appointment with a newbie. She said they will make sure that the stylist is retrained and will be happy to fix the problem… for a charge!

I’ve been to Von Anthony about three times now and have had a great experience each time. I see Houston for my hair and she is fun, creative and really listens to what you want. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive. Meghan was wonderful with helping me to coordinate a group of 5 girls to have hair and make up done for a party. I would definitely recommend this salon.

I used Teri for the first time last week and she did an awesome job on my cut and highlights. I will continue to use her.

Excellent first time visit with Melissa White today. Visiting from out of town with mostly gray hair and left with a great new color. Just what I needed. Melissa was friendly and helpful as was the rest of the staff. Comp. hand treatment was totally unexpected and wonderful. Next time I come to town, I will be returning.

I go to Devin for color and cut. She is always ready for my appointment on time. Listens to my style request and makes suggestions if I ask for them. I’m always happy with my do. I pay about $ 140 plus tip. Very fancy décor. Makes you feel special. The owner even gave me a personal tour of the place on my first visit! I’m a pretty plain Jane kind of girl and it was nice to be treated extra special.

Made an appointment at the salon for a highlight/​lowlight plus cut. To start the salon is a nice facility and well maintained. My first experience here was a few months ago for a facial, which was really good-​so I thought I would try the salon for cut and color.
To start the stylist was over 30 mins behind. Second after being at the salon for 2 hours at this point, they had to redo some of my highlights because they weren’t spaced properly. Then they had to use a toner because my hair was too blonde. Once they were done, the color looked nothing like the color I had before coming in and has one chunk of blonde on either side of my head. I had originally asked that I just get a refresh of my color, but it didn’t happen. Also, I went for just a trim and the haircut wasn’t even.
I agree with other reviews on here-​they need more training at this place before stating, they have years and years of experience like the person told me over the phone. I would not recommend this place.
Also, the staff at the front needs some training as well. They were catty and unprofessional. The first experience I had with this place was really good from the front staff to the estheticians-​what a disappointment this place is now.
I will say both estheticians are great, so I really hate that the other portion of the salon isn’t the same. I won’t be back for any hair appointments-that’s for sure.

Beautiful Full Service Salon. If you want to feel pampered, you will love it here. I’m making plans to go in for massage and blow out on my birthday.
I will most likely change to 5 stars once I go back. Thus was my first visit.

My boyfriend paid for me to get all the bells and whistles for a cut, color etc for my birthday awhile ago. And it was crazy expensive. I got a full color, a deep conditioning treatment and a cut from them and while it was definitely salon quality I don’t think it was worth the money that he paid. They are located just off the tollway at Lebanon which is pretty convenient. The appointment people were very nice and when I first walked in I felt like a million bucks…
The real reason I am giving it such a low rating is because the girl who did my hair completely insulted me. When asking me about my cut I told her I don’t ”style” my hair. I either wear it parted the way it hangs, in a ponytail or half up. I told her this because I wanted a cut that was low maintenance. She literally laughed at me and proceeded to criticize me saying that wasn’t the cut she does… I’m sorry I’m paying you for a service– if you laugh at me it makes me not want to work with you. It is MY hair and if I don’t want to spend an hour playing with it every day that is my business. Very unprofessional. The cut I got looked really amazing that day because she did a lot with it but it never looked that way again because I didn’t know how to replicate it. So basically she ignored what I asked and did what she thought I should want instead of what I needed.

I go to Von Anthony Salon specifically to see Hanna regarding my brows and lashes. I followed her there from another establishment because I love her just that much. Hanna is seriously one of the BEST estheticians in DFW. I say that because for nearly 3 years she has consistently did an awesome job on my eyebrows. (Never ever a bad job… she’s a perfectionist and loves her craft). Yes, I can go to other places for much cheaper but I’m also taking the chance that I’ll walk out looking like a cartoon character. I knew she was doing a good job when people noticed and started complement me on my brows. Then I found out she does eyelash extensions, facials etc. and I’ve been HOOKED ever since.
I say all of that but I’ll admit that I’ve cheated on her lately and gone to a place not far from my job (for convenience). However I have a special event coming up and I only wanted Hanna to help me get prepared.
Con: I don’t live in Frisco so it takes extra effort for me to get there. However if you’re in the area, it’s totally worth it.
I’ve been given a tour of the salon and it’s beautiful. The staff is warm and friendly.

Yes, this is an upscale salon, but eh pricing is riduculous. I cannot ever walk out paying $ 300.00 dollars! Sure it looks great but the value just isn’t there and it grows out so quickly.

Very nice Salon. I was actually glad I was able to find a normal salon. I am not from Dallas, but I travel a lot and once in a while I am in need to style my hair. I can’t stand the independent business that all over Texas, that is something really new to me as we don’t have such a thing back home. So, being able to find what I call a normal salon was great. The staff is friendly and they check you in fast. The décor and products that they use are top of the line. They are also current as far as what’s IN for the season.
Now, I’m a very picky customer with curly hair (not bad hair) and all I ask for anywhere I go is a VERY good blow dry. It’s seems I haven’t got that yet. The moment I leave the salon my hair starts getting frizzy and their suggestions is to do a Brazilian treatment. Well, I know my hair doesn’t need that, I can actually blow dry my hair better and back where I leave they do it all the time. I can tell what a good blow dry is and I am unfortunately not getting it here. To pay 90 dollars for cut and blow dry and then it doesn’t last you more than two days… it’s concerning. However, it’s the best I have been able to find in this city so far. Kind of sad because I like their concept.
