Thumb Nail

This is my first experience at a nail shop in Frisco since moving here. I saw that the prices were reasonable compared to others so I decided to test me luck. The lady that did my nails was very quiet and when I asked for rounded nails she asked for my age and said «I’m young, why don’t I want square nails» I disregarded the comment. All in All, it was a nice acrylic application. My nails could’ve been filed a little bit more rounded but I’m satisfied. Will I go back again… ehhh maybe. I will be shopping around for another nail shop though.

The worst nail experience I’ve ever received. They had no one in the salon, my sister and I got manis and they kept pushing us to get gel. When we politely declined they rolled their eyes and started laughing. The fastest most sloppily done nail job ever. I could not believe it. The girls finger print was in my nail and when I asked her to fix it she scoffed and painted over it!!! Making sure the nail would never dry. Will never go back!

Love this place! The ladies do a great job of getting you in and out in a timely fashion. The prices are very reasonable and they know my whole family by name. I’ve been coming here for a year now and am always happy with my nails and eyebrows. Even my husband comes here :)

That was by far the fastest mani/​pedi I have ever received. They were rushing because they had other clients waiting. My nails still have cuticles that need to be trimmed and dirt underneath the beds. My friend and I went in to try and relax from all the holiday madness but in return, ended up even more stressed and with nails that will need to be redone in a week. We will not be returning which is a shame because I live less than 2 miles away. I do not recommend this place.

First, I will start by saying this is my first review of ANY place. I have been frequenting nail places for the past 7 years. I do have my favorite places and have had some poor service over the years, but nothing to prompt me so strongly to write a negative review. Let me just say out of all the terrible nail places, this is by far the WORST one I have ever been to.
My mani/​pedi was beyond rushed and sloppy. Almost like they didn’t know the difference between my nail and my toe. By this time I was irritated but allowed them to proceed to remove the gel from my nails. Her special technique included scratching the gel off my fingers with her own nails leaving ridges and damaging my nails. At this point I had it and told them not to paint my fingers.
How long did this all take? Well when I showed up there was a woman in the chair next to me receiving a pedi. She was still getting one when I left. Do I feel cheated? For the price of $ 35, yes.
I will be going to my usual nail place (LA Nail Spa) to have them fix my nails this week.
I would like to close out this review with saying if I could give this place zero stars, I would. Hopefully this lengthy review helps you make an informed decision when choosing your next nail place.

I was decently pleased with my pedicure when I left thumb nail two days ago. However, since then my feet have started peeling and I grow more and more aware that my toenails are uneven and not cut well. I can’t wear sandals, my feet look so gross, and I could before my appointment. I just called to ask what they do about unhappy customers/​asked about a service redo, and was told very abruptly that there was nothing to do be done. I am hugely disappointed in blowing my pedicure budget for this month, and will most definitely not be back.

I really had enjoyed the service here, but I notice that since a became a frequent customer… new customers would get priority. So, I was like uhmm i thought it was all the way around. Keep me happy so I continue to come back. Always asked for same gal until one day she was busy and I was in a hurry, so i agreed for the main lady to them. She asked if i wanted just regular acrylic nail, and i said no pink n white please. She continued to say i can make look just as pretty watch, and it’s cheaper. REASON why? There was like 4 more people waiting, that was the fastest service I have ever gotten. But what really pissed me off was when I called & asked if they would honor a competitor coupon since i had misplaced theirs. Well they said we will honor our discount, but not the competitior. So, then I was like well they will @ least honor something. NOT!!! She said «I said NO on the phone», but I know she did not say that, but it guess it was hard to understand what she said anyways. For that, they have lost my business… I ended up paying more n got bad n expensive service.

I called in the morning and asked about a man’s mani/​pedi and they said it was $ 30. When I got done with my service they charged me $ 35. They said that a man’s was more and they apologized that they didn’t tell me the correct price on the phone. Why would a man’s be more when they don’t even have to apply polish?
I won’t be going back there.
