Ski Country Shell & Towing

I have never given any complaints against any company but these guys need to be in the Flashnews.
How much a Tow away company should charge for 71 miles from Frisco, CO to Brighton, CO (Freightliner dealer) to tow away my truck with reefer.
They stated that I will be charged $ 150 per hour and my truck /​reefer reached the dealership in roughly 4 hours.
They charged $ 1100 on my credit card .
Guys, beware of such robbers who have already committed a sin of their lifetime.

Do not trust these guys to help you out. I was involved in a multi car crash on Hwy 91 and the troopers and myself informed them that I would need a tow, the driver said he take the car before me since they were going to silverthorne. He insisted he would come back for me. So all the troopers and tow trucks left and I was abandoned there to wait for a tow that never showed. Waited 3 hours in my wrecked car for them to come back. They never did, I was left with no cell service, in the middle of no where to wander if I was going to go hypothermic. It was about as unprofessional and scary as it gets with these guys abandoning me like that. I ended up having to hitchhike and leave my car off the side of the highway. If these guys are willing to disregard the state patrols orders, then they will definitely ignore you.

Completely unimpressed with the staff. Went in to get a two for one lift ticket voucher. The «gentleman» behind the counter was rude and acted as if we were imposing upon him. Wish he would have been wearing a name badge.

This review is long over due. I recently had to move my family and home across the country for work. While trucking through the mountains in Colorado just past Glenwood springs the diesel engine in my truck air locked due to a faulty pick up in the fuel tank. After an ordeal that would consume several pages of ranting and three days later Budget agrees to call in a guy from Frisco named Larry. Larry arrived earlier than his estimate and went right to work on the truck. Now in the mean time three other technicians had attempted to start the old dinosaur with no luck. Larry was soon in the same spot as the others but rather than give up he kept plugging away until finally it came back to life. Larry then called his connection with budget and explained that they would need to pay the bill because it was their faulty equipment and not my fault. Finally I was back on the road again. Everything was going great until forty miles down the road my car trailer caught fire. Damn. Except this time Larry was there he had me, my jeep, the truck, and the burnt trailer at his garage in about an hour. He even arranged for me to stay in the newly remodeled holiday inn for the night as the trailer was toast. The next day he towed my jeep all the way to Golden to pick up a new trailer. He even stayed to make sure I got back on the road again.
I dare you to find better service than that. He went so far out of his way for me so that I could get home to my wife and kids. This review is the least that I could do. Thank you Larry.
