Love it! The food tastes fresh and the service while preparing your salad is attentive, friendly and respectful. Large selections for vegans or meat eaters. I’ve become a regular and highly recommend.

NEVERAGAIN… The experience I had today with the manager, VK today was absolutely awful! I was picking up a salad for a coworker today and all hell broke loose. She placed an order online a month ago and was doubled charged. VK refused to credit back her card so offered a free salad instead. In this month that this happened she was put in the hospital for the entire month and was not able to redeem the free meal, well she did today but not without major attitude and unprofessionalism. She called to make sure there would be no issues before I went and was told to fax the old order in. Well, the fax machine wasn’t working at Salata, big surprise… who faxes stuff these days anyways??? I brought the receipt in hand and here comes the wrath from VK. He started questioning me with why she waited so long, why this, why that and I need to understand it’s been a month and this is unacceptable etc… etc…He treated me as if I was trying to get a free meal embarrassing me in front of customers. I was forced to explain to him her medical situation, which BTW is absolutely uncalled for. He acted as if he did not care and I was lying. I told him this is obviously a problem so if he had any questions he needed to speak to her I was just the middle man picking up a salad. VK, you’re the one that made a mistake in the first place by double charging her and refusing to give her the money back!!! When you offer someone a free meal because YOU made a mistake doesn’t mean you get to take it back when you’re feeling salty! She should have reported fraud to her bank once you refused to give her, HER money back!!! Annnd to add to the fiasco, my other coworker placed an online order, which wasn’t ready so they totally screwed her salad up and didn’t even give her dressing!!! That isn’t the first time either, I know from experience… annddd on top of that I called VK to let him know how I did not appreciate the way he treated me and all he said to me was«Anything else?» And hung up!!! I regret all the money I have spent at that store. This is no way to run a business PERIOD! I was happy to share my experience with the 40 people that I work with who visit your store quite often about the experience I had today and I can promise you they won’t be back. I wouldn’t even go to a different location after dealing with VK. If Salata hires people like this I absolutely will not be spending my money there. I will be happy to go to Snappy Salads where I am treated with respect and dignity and so will my coworkers. I work too hard to waste my money on establishments who hire bums!

Wow in line to build my salad and the use their hands with gloves to pick up the food to put it in the bowl. That’s okay, One of the servers is handed some trash from a Custer. He accepted the trash, puts it in the trash can and keeps service with the same gloves on! Yuk! I had to ask him to change gloves before I would let him serve me!

Great selection and variety of ingredients. Servers were extremely helpful and kind, they came to chat and make sure we were satisfied, priced around $ 9 a person. Good meal that you can eat guilt free.

I was craving a big delicious salad and then happened upon Salata. I have to say, I wasn’t impressed. I am grateful I could get a nice salad, but it wasn’t organic and I ended up paying $ 14 for a vegan salad after they upcharged me for the avocado, artichoke hearts, and falafel. Also, I don’t think they filter their water and they have painted plastic forks! What!?! I still give it 3 stars because I think there should be more places you can get a good salad, but I’d love to see them really become«next generation» by going organic, filtering their water, and getting some real forks.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and I finally did! I loved it. It was my first time and I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted so I just kind of put random stuff in it. But it was really good! Reasonably priced! Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the complimentary bread that came with the salad? I was really looking forward to it and it looked really good! But it was barely edible. It just tasted awful. But besides that, everything was amazing :)

It’s a chipotle for salads! Move along the bar for what seems like endless options of lettuce types, vegetables, fruit, protein, bread, crunchy toppings and more. Your first trip is rather overwhelming. It’s really easy to end up with this modpodge of a meal that wasn’t quiet what your tastebuds were craving. Pro Tip: look at the menu online first so you go in with a game plan. Food tasted good, but I wish menus were easily accessible while waiting in line. Would make the wait far shorter(it took about 15 minutes) and result in a better planned plate. I also suggest they borrow Genghis Grill’s model and provide suggested builds with calories counts.

I love salata! I have some dietary issues, and I love being able to pick what I want. The selections are just as yummy as they are healthy and you just leave feeling good. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.

Excellent salad. Fresh. Great variety. I love that I can get so many different ingredients. The staff aren’t especially outgoing — salad craft is serious business! But, they are efficient. To get that 5th star they need a small craft beer and wine selection. Nice little patio, as well.

Twas okay but not amazingly, omg. They offer a variety of salad toppings providing full customization availability at a singular base price; this deserves praise. The toppings were tidy and fresh… high five. One can choose to top their salad with speciality proteins such as salmon or shrimp… but none of this just set my socks ablaze. The $ 11 price point is not my favorite for lettuce leaves, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, and a couple of cubes of chicken. That being said, if you’re going green on health, this is the place for you. Likewise, if you’re simply in the mood for a quality salad and you don’t want a market’s pre-packed option, or a fast food chain’s cheaper, but also less opulent options… Salata is your home base… slide right in. PS: They also serve soup.

I’m not sure why I drive by this place all the time and always tell myself to try it, but I always end up getting Chipotle instead. Well not today! I decided to finally try it and I’m glad I did. It’s pretty much a huge salad bar but they do all the work for you. They literally have every topping you could imagine and everything looks so presentable and fresh. My only complaint is that the process is pretty slow. I mean come on, it’s just a salad. I also added on the soup for $ 2, I got the broccoli soup and it was very tasty. My whole meal was. The pricing is a tad high, I paid about $ 9 for a small salad and a small cup of soup. It also comes with a piece of bread, which is nice. Overall, I’m an instant fan and will most likely be back very soon.

I came in here during the worst time a saturday afternoon in the middle of the shopping rush hour. But Tino at the front of the line eased my mind and was quite efficient and quick with his explanation on «how to order». Wish he could have spread his magic on the rest of the line ladies fore they were not quite as friendly and looked like they didn’t want to be there. No smiles or small conversation as the long line kept growing and not moving. Looks like they were the middle of a shift change maybe? I am making excuses because I really wanted to LOVE this place but quite frankly I just LIKED It. All ingredients are fresh and freshly cut. Nothing was awful about my salad. Dressings are special, they had every ingredient on the planet you would want and quite a variety of meats. But I left feeling like it was OK. Still a great experience.

First time going to Salata. I’m not a big fan of salad bars but this was pretty good to say the least. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fine and the customer service was helpful since I needed help ordering. The only thing I really disliked about it is the prices. For a regular size bowl, it’s $ 8 and extras like chicken or seafood is more. With the amount of dressing they automatically put on your salad, it’s almost better off if you went to Five Guys a few blocks down. If I’m in the area and am in the mood for a salad like I was today, I’ll come back again.

Great choice for a quick bite while you’re near the Mall Pros: + Healthy + Tastes Delicious + Super fresh ingredients + Can make your own combinations + decent location + Wide variety of ingredients + Great tasting salads — seriously you can’t tell you’re eating a salad + Helpful with samples — can definitely try a few dressings an ingredients out before you commit to a bowlful of them Cons: — Only one serving per item — yeah, if you like a few things, this really sucks because you’ll get a bowl full of lettuce with a sprinkling of tomatoes; great for people that want a little bit of everything — Can get multiple servings of ingredients — except each serving is an extra buck; I know right? — A little pricey if you get some extras — meat, avocado, extra helpings of ingredients

I have to agree with fellow Unilocal on the 5 stars. My wife and I visited the location during its grand opening week and have been back many times. We usually find ourselves there when we just don’t want to cook. The food is so very fresh and the opportunity to build you own salad as you walk down the line. Make sure you sample the dressings. Many to select from. And the chicken options have been great. I usually select the pesto chicken. My wife and work partners make it there for lunch and grab a salad to go to bring back to the office. Make sure you give them a try and let me know your experience.

I used to frequent the Salata in Dallas so I was pumped about a closer location. Today I popped in and was so disappointed. I always get a dressing free salad topped with just almonds, feta, chicken and croutons. They give you the SMALLEST little scoop known to man. So basically I got a bowl of romaine for $ 10. If you’re a topping lover, the upside is that they have a ton to choose from and you’ll get a little teeny bit of each. However, if you’re picky and don’t want your salad to pack the calories of a big Mac meal, your better off going to salad stop across the street. You’ll save money and they are more topping-generous. I will say: bonus points top Salata for the free bread.
