I recommend Matt Burk Music Studio with no reservations. As a professional musician for Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar in Addison, I wanted to improve my electric guitar skills (it’s my fifth and weakest instrument). My instructor, Kent, is finishing a Bachelors degree from UNT in guitar, and he’s an excellent instructor and performer. I highly recommend him.
As of this writing, the Frisco studio is offering a month of lessons for $ 70 instead of $ 135 through Unilocal.Snap it up! Be aware that there is a $ 50 registration fee for new students, and you’re required to show up at your lesson every week, so be sure you’re willing to be a committed, dependable student before you sign up. You’ll want to practice your instrument a bit every day, too, so you can get the most possible out of your instruction time.
The studio offers voice, guitar, bass, and drum lessons, and they may be thinking about beginning to offer violin if there’s enough interest. You can also record a CD there for the reasonable rate of $ 60 per hour of studio time. This place is great — very committed people running it.
