Disappointed to hear that Markham closed both of their locations. This was one of the nicest jewelry shops in the area with among the best selection of e-rings and watches.

Place is never open, have gone to the store two times when they should be open but there is a sign that says closed for«today». Obviously closed for awhile or forever. Doors are locked. Screw this place. Lost a customer plus more.

My husband and I bought our wedding bands here. The woman who helped us was very helpful in assisting our requests for rings, she even cleaned my engagement ring while we were checking out.

I’ve recently been looking for a pair of Mikimoto earrings but haven’t been able to buy them. After seeing that Markham Jewelers were an authorized retailer, I walked in today and walked out with a pair. The associate who helped me was Tommie and she was great and very helpful. I found that the service was wonderful and like another reviewer said, there was no pressure. I highly recommend this store. Ask for Tommie!

High quality and low pressure. Great to see Julie W mentioned by another reviewer… she was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She hosted my fiancé and a friend when they were ‘looking’ and was very helpful and informative to me as I embarked on the engagement ring and later our wedding bands. She even resolved an issue with one of the bands without debate. Great customer service leaves you satisfied even when you’re spending a lot.

I’m very pleased with the customer service at Markham Fine Jewelers. I’ve stopped in a few times to browse the jewelery and pre-owned watches. Every time I’ve stopped in to look, I’ve been greeted and helped in a very polite and pressure-free manner. The sales people have been helpfull and they understand it takes some people(ME!!) a few trips before biting the bullett and buying an expensive watch or piece of jewelery. I appreciate the time they spend in getting to know a customer or EVENTUAL customer. Last time I was Markham himself worked with me, very nice guy. I love that the sales people aren’t «selling you» on something. When I’m ready to make a purchase, I’m going here.

Markham Fine Jewelers in Frisco, TX turned out to not be so fine! It now has the distinction of a BBB«F» rating(down from an A+) due to not responding to a BBB complaint I had submitted in the not too distant past. I had some terrible customer service. The owner, Mr. Markham never bothered to pick up the telephone and call me reference my customer service issue(it took 8 months to kind-of resolve). He showed a complete lack of concern. He will never again get my business.

Sorely disappointed… I visited this place after receiving a flyer in the mail. I’m rather a watch«snob» if you will and had a Tag Heuer Chrono Carrera that I needed sized correctly — a 5 minute job at best. This was my first time visiting this establishment as I have recently moved to the area from Seattle. Upon entering, I was quickly greeted by a gentleman asking what I needed help with. I informed him that I would like to see if they were able to size my watch. He inquired if I had purchased it from them, to which I replied«no, I didn’t»(it’s just a watch sizing — really?). He stated that since I didn’t they would be unable to perform this outrageous feat for me. I replied with, «So if I had an interest in purchasing an IWC Portuguese or a Hublot Big Bang, would the answer be any different?». He replied, «I’m sorry, it’s what the owners insist upon». I politely thanked him for his time and left. What he(or the owners) fail to realize is that in the state of the current economy, luxury buys are at a decline. While I may have been inquiring about a simple bracelet adjustment, I’m still a customer… who can also be a critic or an evangelist, take your pick. Shortly before leaving, he also informed me that«While we may not be busy right now, we could have 20 people walk in the door at any minute. You can leave it with us and probably pick it up this time tomorrow if you’d like.»(Hello? Am I not a customer??) I again thanked him for his time and left… and went straight to Ben Bridge Jewelers inside of Stonebriar Mall. Upon entering Ben Bridge, I inquired the same way as before, and was politely answered with, «absolutely, we can do that while you wait.» I paid $ 25 for sizing(which was probably on the high side), but it was incredible service with a smile. While I was waiting, I had noticed that Rolex has recently come out with a larger DateJust II model that was more appealing to me. In the 5 minutes that I was waiting for my watch to be resized, I tried on a beautiful black faced DateJust, roman numerals with an oyster band… and purchased it. Perhaps had the fine people at Markham Jewelers provided the same level of support, I may have purchased the IWC that I’ve been interested in. Instead I’ll look elsewhere. Great job missing out on a $ 7K sale, Markham Jewelers! Cliff notes — snooty staff, doesn’t want your money.
